Horrible excuse for A Japanese restaurant. The hibachi was an oversalted teriyaki "Chinese" disaster. Not hibachi. Sushi was not fresh, and service was by far the worst part! Avoid!!
Horrible Excuse For Japanese Food. Sushi like it had been sitting out all day. Habachi tasted like leftover oversalted terayki + bad Chinese. Yes Chinese. SERVICE HORRIBLE. WTF!?!
I have been coming to this place for over 5 years and I hate that I am just now writing a review for them. For your average person who LOVES sushi, This restaurant is AH-MA-Zing! I say for the average person only because I have various ethnicities of Asian friends (to whom have voiced their comments on authenticity to their standards) can be overly harsh on Americanized oriental restaurants lol. As a Puerto Rican, born in South Carolina, and raised on a military base, I will give MY honest opinion. The service is Fast, the food (weather you can handle All you can eat or order individual items) Is delicious and customizable. All you need to do is voice it to your server or write it down on the erasable laminated menu they give you (super convenient by the way.) The sake has always hit the spot and their green tea and red bean ice creams are a Great conclusion to the meal. Will always recommend this place to anybody and everybody.
Used to go to this restaurant prior to the pandemic. Since the pandemic it appears they are not focused on customer service anymore. Friend of mine and I met for a business meeting. She recently experienced dental surgery and only wanted soup. I wanted the all you can eat sushi menu. Well according to their policy please see attached all customers who are sitting together have to order the all you can eat. Therefore I had to order from the menu the same amount of money I would have spent purchasing the all you can eat option. Not coming back at all, there are other options in the area to get better service.
This was for the lunch buffet. Sushi was not fresh, balance of rice to fish was heavy on the rice. Rice was plain. Same issue with the rolls. Wasabe was weak. Tempura was well fried but light on flavor. I would not go back for the buffet for reasons above and limited selection. Good policy for making you pay for any wasted food. Waiter was good on telling us we had over ordered and he was right.
I am a sushi enthusiast along with my girlfriend. We go on multiple sushi dates and this place continues to never disappoint. There is not a sushi that they make that I do not like. They have amazing service and are extremely quick. Their sushi is presented like a piece of art. The prices definitely make the experience worth it. 10/10 recommend to everyone.
I went with my family and we got all you can eat sushi. It is a bit expensive being around $30 per person. But it was worth it. The staff are amazing and so is the food. For sushi lovers out there, I highly recommend it.
The waitress was so mean and rude. They literally gave us so thin a slice of fish that you can see through it and ask us to finish the rice or she will charge us extra money. The rice portion of the nigiri was so huge, they might as well give us a bowl of rice. If you want good Japanese food, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else!
The only all-you-can-eat sushi place near Raleigh! The price is VERY good for AYCE, which includes nigiris, special rolls, custom rolls, many appetizers, hibachi, udon, and ice cream! The house made salad dressing was delicious. Beef teriyaki very good too. Sushi rolls decent to expect. Service very good too.
