We had a gift card and wife always loved Olive Garden. We reserved online and Saif 15 minute wait. When we got there the woman said at least 30 minutes and acted as if she was hoping we would leave. Wasn't an issues they were busy. We sat and waited a but. The waitress was very nice. She was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. We ordered unlimited salad and bread for daughter. She got. Bowl and like 4 bread sticks which we all were to share since our meals came with the same. Wife git a pasta meal with shrimp, forgot the name..it looks pretty good. Wife said it was OK but nothing great. I went with the classic chicken parm. My portion was very nice but the spegetti just very plain and basic. we had ro ask for drink refills and even had to ask for salad and breadsticks again after being empty for awhile. When she finally refilled us she gave us 3 breadsticks. When we use to come to OG I remember it being a lot better and breadsticks and salad was plenty. Just remember it being better. The bread was nit as good as I remember them. We waited for our check for awhile, inhad to use the rest room so I told my family i would meet them in the lobby. It took another 15 to 20 minutes.to get the check and pay. Was looking forward to this meal nut was nothing speacial.
We sat at the bar so there wouldn't be as long of a wait. Bartender was friendly and fast and made the great suggestion to add mushrooms to the Alfredo and asparagus to the carbonara. The watermelon sangria was sublime. Still loving the $6 take home entrees.
I've been an Olive Garden diner for years. Our family routinely dine there to celebrate significant events. I stopped coming to this particular Olive Garden for a quite some time because the cooks kept sending pasta dishes dry and with a minimum of sauce. When I would ask for additional sauce, they wanted to charge me for each one. We were in town and close by so I decided to give them a try - I wish I hadn't. Both my dish and my wife's Shrimp Alfredo had almost no sauce, and we had to ask for some on the side, of course the server brought us one each which accomplished nothing - at least they didn't bill us for it. We ate the meat from our dish and left the pasta, hence this review. Our server was GREAT, and worked hard to get our orders in ahead of a large party on a busy night - KUDOS to him. In contrast, the spaghetti dishes that my sister and her romantic ordered had an ABUNDANCE of sauce - go figure. In full disclosure, I did not try to talk with the manager - I was too angry and frustrated to have a civil conversation and I really don't like to mistreat people.I just won't be back there.
I love the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant. They are consistent which ever city you may be in. Their food is always great. I enjoy the atmosphere, it is like a getaway. You cannot go wrong. A1A hands down.
Had a great time with my sister. Took her here for her birthday. The food was great, satisfying but I don't think it couldn't have been as great as it was if it wasn't for our waiter Brian. He definitely went above and beyond his job. His suggestions were spot on and he even treated us with some complimentary treats when he didn't have too. I hope Olive Garden does everything in there power to keep him because he was wonderful. The experience was good tho. Haven't been here in a while due to the restaurant always having a long wait time, but I'm glad i came today!
Valentines was yesterday and as expected the wait was long to get in. But I would wait again for the type of quality we received last night. Ms. Ebony and the kitchen team was amazing. Every piece of our food was phenomenal. From the steak to the soup couldn’t find anything bad about it. Elliot our server made the experience even better. Great customers service. he even gave us helpful suggestions from the drinks to the food. Thank you to the Oliver garden team as a whole you helped my valentines end on a wonderful note. Definitely will be back soon!
This was the best! We had gone to another Olive Garden either our party of 15 and were told 2 hour wait! 2 of us left and drove just down the road to this one and they said 45 min to an hour. Perfect! We called and the others started driving. Our table was ready in 15 minutes!! Our server was superb! She was fast, efficient and we never wanted for anything! Food was delicious and all orders came out together! Couldn't ask for a better experience!
Ordered food over the phone. Pulled up at the correct time to do the text your spot. Some how said my spot was already checked in. Called in, after 10 minutes a person came out and told me a girl said there was 2 people with my name. 30 minutes past the time I was told it would be ready for pick up I finally get my food. I’m not big on bad reviews but when the same girl came out and said they were backed up, of course she was lying. I appreciate honesty. If she said oh we are sorry we gave the food to the wrong person we apologize, I’d be cool with it. I’ll never leave another tip over the online order again.
Online ordering and curbside pickup is the way to go. Customer service at the car was amazing. The food very good and large portions.
Y’all had some fantastic food and service when I visited in 2018. I would come back but it’s a hassle to drive from North Durham to Raleigh for really good service. I enjoy the all you can eat salad,breadsticks and the great pastas. Y’all have some great food and great service.
