I love this place so much. The atmosphere, the food, the people - all wonderful! Cute local coffee shop with a nice blend of both indoor and outdoor seating. Has bookshelves and even a couch inside. Feels like home. Banana bread is my go-to pastry and gingy bee is my go-to drink - both delicious! The staff is friendly, quick, and efficient - excellent customer service.

I love so many things about this cafe. 1) The variety of drinks and treats. They have the largest gluten-free selection I’ve found at any cafe in the triangle. 2) The hours. Not many cafes are open later in the evening. 3) Atmosphere. Plenty of parking, Variety of Indoor and outdoor seating, art, books, and friendly staff. From a gluten-free preservative I do like that most the gluten free treats are in their own case. JP’s and Rising Thistle are dedicated gluten-free bakeries. Shout out to Rising Thistle for the amazing Lemon Poppy Seed bread. This was the first I’ve heard of this bakery and also the first time I’ve had anything lemon poppy seed in many years. It’s not a common gluten-free option. They also had gluten-free treats from 9th street bakery which to my knowledge is not dedicate gluten free. And I am unaware of their cross-contamination practices so for those who have celiacs or more extra sensitivities be aware.

The cutest coffee shop! This is one of my favorite, go-to places to get coffee. If I’m not in a hurry I like to grab a book in their little library area and enjoy my coffee while reading a book. They have plenty of homemade pastry options. They also make refrigerated goodies like chicken salad (and vegan!) as well as homemade deviled eggs. Yum!! NoRa cafe has plenty of outside seating (with umbrellas!) because it can get pretty hot out in the summer time. I definitely enjoy small coffee shops compared to Starbucks or other big name coffee shops. Staff are very nice and always welcoming. Support local!

Not sure what bakery to try? Try NoRa Cafe. They either make their own or have local bakeries delivered. This give you the opportunity to try other bakeries without having to drive all over town. I had the rosemary/olive English muffin with raspberry hibiscus iced tea. My friends had the cinnamon muffin & chocolate chip muffin with a coffee.?? ?All treats were so yummy. If you’re there before 2:30 you can have breakfast or lunch.Their coffee ☕️ is local ~ Carrboro Coffee Roasters.

You won't leave NoRa Cafe without a good taste in your mouth! It's a friendly environment with a melting pot of food and people. The menu is surprisingly diverse and delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches are gold! It's nourishment of the soul and body; it's true love. The staff was a highlight of my time; they're easygoing, humorous, and phenomenal baristas. We even have an inside joke about my drink order. The lobby is excellent for studying, relaxing, or snuggling with a good book. It's a quick and effortless experience that you'll fall in love with!

I come here almost daily and am so grateful for its warm, local vibe—not to mention the fantastic coffee, breakfast sandwiches and bakery items. NoRa always seems to have fun local events and fundraisers going on as well. The owner and the staff are very personable and make an effort to brighten peoples’ days. Definitely a morning highlight for me every day!

Great little neighborhood coffee house with some really great sweet and savory pastries. The blueberry cream cheese danish was excellent and my iced coffee had just enough flavor and sweetness to compliment rather than hide the coffee.

Came in once before but this time I came to work and loved the environment. Easy access to many size tables, AWESOME English muffins and other baked goodies. Coffee is also great and everything is clean!

This is a quaint spot to grab a cup of coffee and relax. A local alternative to Starbucks with a much more unique atmosphere. They display local artists work on the walls that you can buy which is great to see. There is also ample amounts of books to read while you relax.

Drinks taste delicious and so do the desserts. very cozy atmosphere. And the cashier was super nice and understanding. Also made me realize I was a lesbian. thank you black haired lady
