I had heard a few positive reviews for Nancy's when it first opened, then saw a Groupon so thought I'd give it a try. First I was amazed that my $30 credit from Groupon was barely enough to buy the pizza pictured below. I can find medium pizza loaded at 20 other spot in north Raleigh for $15. But maybe it is REALLY that much better? Nope. This was lame cardboard tasting crust and sauce. To top it all off, I had two employees carping at me that my purchase could not be credited out as it was a carryout order, which is "against the rules" posted "right on the Groupon web "right on the Group website." So I checked... It is nowhere stated in the "fine print" section, where every other participant puts it.. but it does say it above. Simple solution, I dined in with my take out pizza. They were kind enough to credit my credit card (for the purchase I had to use credit card as the promo code for Groupon did not work) This transaction would have been easier if I could have talked to them first, but they did not pick up when I tried to call. All in all, bad experience, bad, pizza, grossly overpriced, and argumentative "customer service" team.

We really enjoyed the deep dish pizza from Nancy’s! Delivery was fast and the driver was friendly.

While several other reviews say it is a bit on the pricey side it is very worth it if you are looking for a Chicago styled menu with quality ingredients and flavors. Really hits the spot! The pizza is spot on (Chicago style is the best) from the crust, cheese and sauce, definitely the go to place in Raleigh for a pie. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, comfortable booths and tables on the dining side and the bar side looked fun, the place reminded me of Giordanos in that respect.

You need to come here for their PIZZA! It's Nancy's Pizzeria, just like back home in Chicago. I have lived in NC for just over a year and started giving up on the idea of my beloved Chicago-style pizza. Then a friend of mine told me about Nancy's in Raleigh. Seriously, it's Chicago pizza! It is the only pizza place that knows how to make some cheesy, deep dish pizza, w/ spicy sausage (crumbles)! You have to try their deep dish pizza! Yum.

Seriously so good!! I’ll agree that it’s a little pricy but it’s worth it! We had this delivered for dinner & the driver was super friendly. My husband and I shared the Stuffed Chicago Style Pizza (small) and the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was more than enough food for the 2 of us (the leftovers will be enough lunch for the 2 of us tomorrow!). The red sauce on the pizza makes it so amazing, it is super flavorful!! The ranch dressing doesn’t taste homemade (which is fine). We’ll definitely order from here again, and will check it out in person asap!!

My first visit, when they first opened, was not a good experience - the kitchen was super slow, and it took 90+ minutes for us to get served anything. The new staff wasn't quite attentive enough, so it led to a lot of disappointed, hungry, and thirsty people. Went back recently, and things have changed. The pizzas are quite good, and come out much quicker! The pastas in a little cast iron skillet - wow. Hedonism! Definitely a good choice in the deep rotation.

One of the best pizzas i have ever had, we got a deep dish. That crust was definitely not made yesterday, it was fresh. Flaky and crispy like gammas pie. The cheese and all the other toppings were fresh and plentiful. Not soaking with greese. Spot-on for a deep dish

OH MY GOSH YA’LL IT’S CHICAGO STYLE!!!! I’m from IL so when our waitress delivered the pizza and it was smothered and covered in cheese and sauce, I could have fainted! I wish I got a picture of the pizza being cut and separated because the cheese was so stringy we couldn’t cleanly get it off the plate… and I was A OK with that! The sausage thin crust was very nice and tasty too, but… Chicago style stole my heart. The sauce had good flavor, the cheese was so good and the crust had flavor! Not like another place I’ve been to. Be wary though, you will need a fork and knife to eat this pizza if you come here!!!

Crazy expensive but worth every penny and every bite. Crave this pizza now. I’ve had it 4 times in the last few months. Try the meat or veggie and you will love it….if you love deep dish pizzas.

Was attracted by the story and the menu. Ordered The Godfather - beef, mozzarella, onions, etc. on garlic bread, au jus. It was a takeout order. If you do the same, do NOT get the au jus on the sandwich unless you like really soggy bread (see pic). For the price we paid, I say more cheese and bread that stands up better to takeout. Beef was thinly sliced and delicious!
