Great tasting pizza. I'm not a pizza eater but when I do I try to get the best and this was certainly top of the list. I love the fact that you can get gluten free crust and the cheese and sausage was very good. Would definitely get it again.
The pizza is extremely good, but this location is difficult to work with.Highly recommend using the app and picking it up yourself.They randomly turn off their order ahead service but the app doesn’t stay updated so you won’t know it’s turned off until you attempt to submit your payment.They do not do Curdside pick up (even when you see it on their app and call when you get there and are told they will bring it out for you). I waited 15 mins (from the ETA) for my pizza to be brought out but had to go in to see it sitting on their Togo shelf.FYI, they do not do the drizzle, when dining in the restaurant, if you don’t reminds them again at the end. However, their ToGo drizzle is much more reliable since they have to follow the printed order details.
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. When we came in, there was a guy sweeping and he saw us. We waited at the counter for 10 minutes while he continued to sweep, never even acknowledging our existence. I had to speak up to get any help. He disappeared into the kitchen, hit weed pen while we watched through the glass on the door, and finally two more employees came out. We asked for the manager, and while we were telling him the issue, the employee who ignored us, looked at us and said in a very curt way, ‘I’m not even suppose to be here.’ Wow...
Fully automated ordering process, good luck talking to a live person. When it works, it works great...when it's down forget about talking to someone at the store...the phone bot will prevent that from ever happening. When I did get someone on the line, they were not at I was told the rewards system was down and that they were not at the store and could not help me. We wound up driving in to order.
This is maybe my favorite pizza place in Raleigh. I love being able to customize my pizza to be exactly how I want it to be. Definitely recommend the hot honey or balsamic drizzle as a finisher for your pizza. It is delish. And the servers are always pretty quick and really friendly.
We love this place! Great prices, good portion sizes, excellent variety of pizza toppings, and we always get a No Name cake to split! We especially love that Mod supports foster kids through employment opportunities and community donations.
I’m a frequent at mod pizza for either lunch or dinner but today I had a rarely bad experience. When I walked up to give my order for two large, both with red sauce. The young lady making my pizzas reached up on the wall and grabbed one with sauce already spread on the dough which was drying and cracking. I thought she was joking so I chuckled. Then I realized she intended to use it for my pizza. I shared that I was accustomed to the dough being pre-made but had never experienced the sauce already on the dough. She said it had been applied in error for a previous customer and they didn’t want to waste the dough. I kindly requested fresh dough. She was very nice to honor my request; however, a young man, overhearing our conversation, walked over and replied, “it’s not that old”. When I continued with my request for dough that did not have sauce previously applied, he did not give me the dough from the shelf but used dough which had to be flattened in the machine. As he did so he mumbled barely loud enough for me to hear that “it didn’t make sense not to use the dough with the sauce already on it”, to which I did not respond. I suppose in retaliation, he left the sides of the dough rounded and not the customary flattened edges. We ended up with fat edges and toppings all piled in the middle. This is a first bad experience, otherwise, this Millbrook road location has had consistently good service and food. .
