Despite the 1 hour wait (Sunday morning and Holiday weekend) The food was Excellent. Servers were friendly and polite, my wife's eggs were cooked to perfection as ordered. My Meat Lovers Omelette was great, overflowing with ham, bacon and sausage! The hash browns were very tasty and the homemade biscuit was NOT stuck in my throat! Prices were good for the amount you are served. We will head back, just not on a late Sunday Morning.

Cool fresh morning - I had breakfast which was fantastic my wife ordered chicken fingers and fries (I know don't judge her ?) she's not a breakfast person. Our initial waitress wasn't that attentive so we solicited the help of Tracy (awesome and hard worker) who served the table behind us to help with our needs. To be fair management went out their way make our experience a lot better. Because of their concerns i gave them 5 star - we will definitely return.

Great tasty food! Recommended if you are on vacation! Exceptional service and this place is poppin! Check it out if your in the area! Will be back for sure!

This was my first time. The customer service was great, the food was seasoned good, the portions was very small. I ordered the beef tips I had about four or five small tips with a bunch of mushrooms very disappointing for the price.?

The food is great every time we visit so this time was no different. The sauce that goes with the fried chicken is so good. Customer service was great as well.

I had the shrimp and grits. My wife had the roast turkey dinner. Both were delicious and freshly made. The chocolate bread pudding hit the "sweet" spot.Highly recommended. We will go back. They have friendly staff too.

Brunch at Metro Diner never fails, food is always good service friendly. Had the shrimp and grit cakes but I say try to chicken and waffles with their honey strawberry butter.

Highly recommend Metro Diner not only for the amazing food, but for the friendly atmosphere! My boyfriend and I traveled to Raleigh for an event and stopped by for brunch March 24. Our server Tracy was amazing and so kind! She told us we were lucky there wasn't a waiting list, and as soon as she said that I realized we had actually tried to go to the Charlotte location one morning but the line was down the street!!! Anyway... we really enjoyed our meals. I had fried chicken with a sweet and spicy signature sauce, mashed potatoes with gravy, and green beans. I could've cried it was so delicious. My boyfriend had the breakfast burger and said it was really good. Everyone was very friendly, and we loved being able to speak with Tracy and some of the other staff for a bit during the time that we were there.

We’ve had metro a few times, hence the three stars, but the last time was a hard one star experience. Ordered curbside pickup, waited in my car for 15 minutes before I just went inside to grab it. Half the order was missing/not in the bag and on top of that the fries were severely undercooked and the “toast” was just bread. Very disappointing.

I love this place! I recommend you stopping in to eat.
