Such a cute eatery! I'm visiting NC from the UK and went here the first day I flew in, 0 regrets. I will definitely be eating here again. Me and my friend are both vegetarians and although there aren't many vegetarian options on the menu, we were super impressed with the mouthwatering pizzas we ordered.
No one was in there when I placed my order and it took forever to get my order to go. With that being said, I feel like since they took their time making it they could've at least chopped the tempeh smaller. I mean JC these chunks are HUGE! What the heck. Also, it cost $80 for three pizzas. Wow. I expect my food to taste darn amazing for that and it was just ok. I probably won't go back.
I've never been disappointed at any Mellow Mushroom. The food at this one is as good as the others. The layout of this one though is something else and makes this the best one I've visited! We had a party of 9 and our waitress did an excellent job attending to us. I wish it wasn't cold when we went...would have loved to try their outdoor seating area! It looked very nice!
3-star due to lack of customer service... I ordered pick-up. According to my order, it would be ready at 1:59PM. It was raining, so I decided to not use curbside, so they didn't have to come out in the rain. I went in a few minutes late and was told it would be another 10 minutes, I was asked for car and color so they could bring it out. I thought that was very kind. At 2:15, I still didn't have my pizza, so I decided to go back in, through the rain. No one was at the pickup window, no one at the front check-in... I looked around the corner to see several people at a cooler and talking - none that I could see had a Mellow Mushroom shirt on, so I didn't know if they were working on there for some other reason. At 2:22pm, the girl finally saw me and went to get my barely warm pizzas. No apology for not bringing it out in '10 minutes', so apology for it being barely above lukewarm... so I asked, are you going to do anything for the order being almost 25 minutes late, not brought to me as offered and it not being hot? She just looked at me... since there were cookies on the counter, I said, how about a couple cookies to compensate? She asked and I was given two cookies.... the pizza is good, but worth the extra time, energy and money? Not for me it's not....
we love the wings, and the house pizza, the food was great, but the wait staff needs to pay more attention to the the tables, our tea was out, waited 20 minutes for our check, they were not busy.
This was my first time trying Mellow Mushroom. I did curbside take out. The wings were very good. I like that they let you split the flavors. The salad was very good and fresh. Very filling. Loved it. I want to try the pizza next.
Loved their Bruschetta and Cheese Bread. They have multiple Vegetarian options so I was a big fan. The waiter was so helpful in recommending dishes and drinks. Veg Out and Kosmic Karma was the absolute best pizza I have ever had. Definitely did not feel like a chain and is a must visit for anyone in the Raleigh area.
The food was hot and fresh our server was very attentive. I would have taken a picture of my wife's Veg out pizza but she dove right in ??
Tasty, delicious pizzas! Service was outstanding. My daughter had a birthday and they seated our table of 14 guests comfortably! Very positive experience we will be back!!???
Service is super slow, but doesn't look like anyone is in a hurry to help anyone. From the time we (party of 2) got there to the time we left was close to 2 hours. It wasn't even dinner time. They blamed it on staffing issues, but all I could see is staff standing around, instead of checking on customers to see if they needed anything.Plenty of other good places to eat, so I won't be back. Also.... Some of these 5 star reviews are suspect at best.
