Great variety of foods; often find products can't find in other grocery stores. Their staff is awesome; they are knowledgeable about their meats, fish and other products and they will go out of their way to help you find something. Their prepared foods are very good especially their pizza.
WF has definitely changed over the past few years. First, why doesn't the cooking/prep team drain the bacon on the hot bar? It's always greasy, and laying on top of other pieces that are also greasy. Very unappetizing and visually appealing. The food also isn't what it used to be. I've had several items on the hot bar that I had to dispose of when I got to work. Just not the same as it used to be. Side note: customer service is always willing to help out and fix receipts.
I usually stop into Whole Foods to pick up a few items that fit into my dietary restrictions when in Raleigh. Three of those items were no longer stocked or were reformulated. This has been a fairly recent development and I wonder if the transition to Amazon had anything to do with it. I probably won’t be shopping there as often.
