the food is excellent the attention of the staff is very good it is a place that I recommend to go with your family and friends, excellent atmosphere and affordable prices.

I had never had authentic Salvadorian food before. It was very good and the service was great.
I have loved going to Mar y Sol since they first opened and had only a handful of tables. The food has always been excellent and the customer service friendly and welcoming. 5 stars for both.Tonight, when I brought my best friend to experience Mar y Sol, the 20-something wait staff was more interested in hanging out with their boyfriends in the corner than doing their job. We were not treated like customers but rather like 2 old white men who had walked into a Latin night club that caters to 20-somethings. Menus were placed on the table and the staff walked away and waited for us to leave by either ignoring us, talking with their boyfriends, or making themselves scarce. After 10 minutes of being ignored, we left. Hands down the worst customer service I have experienced in any restaurant.I resent feeling compelled to write a negative review because this really is an excellent place to get papusas con jamon y queso, bistec encebollado, and other dishes that do not have numbers attached to them. Perhaps I will revisit Mar y Sol for lunch in a few months, but definitely not again on a Saturday evening. Hoping the owners correct this behavior soon.

Food is delicious ? prices are very reasonable. Sunday was too crowded, so the service was slow, but it was worth the waiting!
My family has been coming here for years and I really love it. The staff are always really nice to me and the food is so good. I don’t really like the salad from the carne asada dish but everything else tastes amazing and fresh (even the takeout). I really recommended if you like Salvadoran food.
Customer service acceptable, food not good at all, music too loud also this old man drunk playing his own music( horrible music) on his speaker and no one said anyhting.
En lo personal yo recomiendo este restaurante!! Sirven muy buena y rica comida. De eso no tengo que decir absolutamente nada. Lo único que tengo que decir es tocante a el servicio que proveen algunas de sus meseras. (Una Alta morena) Y quizás puedan tener un diálogo con ellas tocante a el servicio. Hoy día vengo a comer y me atienden luego entrando. Ordeno y todo. Pasan 15 minutos y después de ese tiempo viene otra mesera y me pregunta que si ya ordene. Y yo?? Seńores propietarios por favor dialoguen con sus meseras por favor. Le agradezco a la seńorita mesera (nueva) es muy dedicada en lo que va de su trabajo! ni le pregunte su nombre. Grasias a ella por su dedicación.
