I’ve been coming here for a little over a year. I drive about an hour away. It’s well worth it. Make sure you order online the day before because some of their croissants will sell out. My favorite one is the egg danish. I always get that one.
Fancy place for croissant dough pastries. All make in perfection and all looks stunning on the display....and the prices are equally stunning but they are good. Also, since they are perfect, warming up is not an option, you have to take it as it regardless how long has been sitting out there.
Visited on a Thursday morning at 11am and the store was empty other than us! We also were able to try all the croissants we wanted. So maybe to the people who said stuff was sold out--go on a weekday! Really enjoyed the croissants, very rich and tasty. The location is near lots of other stuff but not right in the middle of downtown so parking was super easy and free. Would recommend.
One of the best croissants I've had in my whole life. So flaky and buttery, really fresh. The black forest one was so flavorful and full of cherry preserve. Absolutely delicious.The prices are high but so worth it once in a while.
This food here is amazing and only gets better each month with new flavors. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!
I love discovering new eateries in Raleigh. This is my new favorite croissant place. The have heavenly sweet or plain croissant, along with savory. I had the Shawarma - wow! A hidden gem!
If you’re looking for dessert, that’s not ice cream, you need to visit Layered.Parking: limited parking, as Layered shares a parking lot with a gym. Street parking is available.Seating/ambiance: for a small place, Layered has a good amount of seating. The decor is modern, clean, bright. No frills.Food and coffee: We tried the egg danish, ham and Gruyère, chocolate, and plain croissants. All four were served warm. They serve counter culture coffee, and the barista made some delicious iced lattes.Overall, it’s very good and I will come back to visit. Knocked a star off because of limited parking. The staff was friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. Can’t wait to show my family the Croissanterie!
The croissants are so delicious. So many varieties and flavors. Add chai latte and you’ll have a perfect combo. The croissants don’t last long. Get in and order early because all sweet and savory food will be sold out before noon. Call ahead. Croissants ? ?☕️

I love croissants so I had to check out Layered Croissanterie! I loved their classic croissant and they were all very fresh, flakey and buttery. The inside is really aesthetic too. They are kinda pricey and I recommend going early because they do sell out!
