Absolutely fantastic food... very fresh, delicious, and perfect amount of food..
Tldr: Great and quick service with okay food depending on what you order.There was a long waiting though, but understandable given it was a Saturday night. However they weren't able to confirm if we'd get a place or not & kinda hinted as to find another place. So we did, but then when we got there, we were told there was a place & so we headed back.The service was quick, ambience was great. The chips & salsa were fresh. The food I ordered was a little bland but what a friend ordered was extremely tasty! The tres leches cake tasted good but could have been more moist. So the food was a hit and miss.
Visiting family in NC, we decided to stop by and get some authentic tacos!! They were so delicious, it was really hard to find a good place around here and this restaurant did not disappoint! I really loved the atmosphere and the staff was friendly!
I’ve written maybe 3 reviews in my life but this place is worth taking the time to let everybody know how GOOD it is and EVERY time!!! This is one of if not my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. Every single staff member is over the top courteous and always smiling, opening doors for you, and checking on you at appropriate times. Kudos to the owners/managers for ensuring everyone is trained well and friendly as all heck. We’ve been waited on by probably every person that works there and have never had bad service or gotten a bad attitude. Their margaritas are actually the best, fresh squeezed juices and all. Their lunch special is ridiculous. Full portion of food for $9. Their guacamole is some of the best I’ve ever had out. But the staff are what makes this place over the top good!!!
The hostess was very nice when we arrived and we were able to be seated immediately even though it was super busy. The service from the server was horrible 2/10, she was very impatient & unhelpful when it came to answering questions about the menu. She seemed more accommodating and interested in her larger parties. She didn’t check in with us very often when we needed things. I ordered the Tacos De Costra with Barbacoa and they were very good! 9/10. My boyfriend order the Chimichangas and he said they were really good 9/10. We also ordered the I like your peach margarita, The Jalapina margarita & the passion fruit margarita. The peach and passion fruit were extremely sweet BUT they were nice and strong overall they were a 7/10.
We love La Santa! Authentic food, great beverages and best of all the most courteous and welcoming service! The menu is vast and has lots of vegetarian and vegan options! We love going here for special occasions and having their giant margaritas! The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and it's beautiful! And it's always packed which is a sign of a good restaurant!
This whole restaurant experience was an amazing vibe! From when we walked in until we walked out we had a blast! We were greeted by the most friendly host (I believe one was named Caroline). We were sat as quickly as possible and the decorations and paintings on the wall were beautiful! The food was good and our waitress was amazing!
Okay but this is the best Mexican food you will get in RaleighThis is the spot, the vibes, the food, the service, ITS AMAZING. You will not regret eating here. The prices are average for modern downtown food setting. This place is just full of great people, shout out to all the staff they are all hands on board and make this place great! They close at 9pm and they are very nice about letting customers know and hoping they respect that 9pm is when the kitchen is closes but more than welcome to finish up your food past 9pm. Along with their service everything is very swift, your get seated fast, and food comes out quick, the longest I had to wait to be seated here on a very busy night was 30 minutes exactly.Go visit!
