First rate carne asada and patron margaritas- can’t go wrong at la rancherita!

Decided to try La Rancherita tonight on a whim with my friend and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Contrary to recent complaints I had absolutely no issue with service. The waitress was attentive, extremely nice and made great recommendations. The carne asada was juicy, tender and the salsa was to die for. It’s not often I give a 5 star rating but this place deserves a 5 star rating.

Food was average. Restaurants make enchiladas different was not my favorite

Where to begin this story, it was a Sunday evening when my girlfriend and I came in for dinner. Beginning with our seating situation, with many booths available, they decided to seat us here,(see below for our wonderful ambience) I understand that places are understaffed at the moment but our service was comical to say the least our waitress asked if I could get another water and I received it when we got our check. I expect at least if you’re going to sit us by the kitchen at least have decent service. Now we’ll get back to the service in a second what was really disheartening was the food not only was the food burnt and dry and had a handful of rice the order wasn’t even right. Since leaving my stomach feels worse than when I got there. And when we brought this to the attention of the waitress didn’t seem at all apologetic. Just asked us if we wanted to talk to the manager which we could clearly see wasn’t going to help the situation. However I will say my favorite part of this dinner was when I had to go to the front of restaurant and grab a working pen. All we could do was laugh and have decided to drive farther to just go to the Crabtree location.Sincerely, Disappointed

Quaint atmosphere. Customer service is alright, not great. Food is ok. I have definitely had better. Prices are on the higher side. If you are a civil servant (I'm a teacher) and you want to take your family out to dinner, you can find a better place with cheaper prices. I most likely won't go back. Family rating 2 out of 5 stars.

We had a big table of 16. The food was average and the piña coladas had ice chunks and tasted like bananas and prices were a bit high. The waitress was new and spoke primarily Spanish, which is respectable but challenging for an Indian family who prefers English. I imagine COVID has produced a lot of turnover on staffing and I didn't mind paying the big bill in the end.

First time trying La Rancherita.... last time too. We arrived Sunday night at 8:02 pm, we were seated, and waited until 8:30 pm to be asked what we wanted to order. Mind you, it wasn’t busy and the employees walked by our table numerous times. It looked like the party was happening at the register where at least 5 employees were gathered around goofing off. It appeared as if they hoped we would get irritated and leave, because they seemed to be done for the night. Food... so so... not bad, but room for improvement. I couldn’t drink my tea because it had a funky flavor... and it was cloudy looking. Save your time, money, and frustration, and go to Chipotle.

Unfortunately this experience was not good. Tbh if it wasn’t for one upbeat employee they wouldn’t be getting 2 stars. The togo girl was not friendly even making a comment that the other employee was being too nice.. The tacos were watery and tasteless, they also gave us chicken when we asked for beef and the sour cream is salty… Just a pure disappointment.

The Crabtree location is very good. This location is good too, but the service was very unattentive. Sat in the back behind a curtain the whole time, making even getting something as simple as more napkins or water take 15 minutes or more. Was completely dead too, so business wasn’t a factor.

Waited 15 minutes in the front to be seated and no one ever came to me. 3 employers noticed and still nothing! And no, it was not that busy!
