On 1/13/2022, I purchased $35.00 of a variety of chocolates. Myself and our guests were greatly disappointed in the taste of the chocolates. We only sampled a few. While living at the beach we visited the Kilwin’s in Wilmington. It was always delicious. This trip to the Kilwin’s in Raleigh again was a disappointment. Not recommend.
Taylor was very kind and switched my ice cream order after I had accidently ordered buttered pecan instead of praline pecan, it was very sweet and the pecans still had a soft crunch would definitely get it again!
Reallllly wanted to spend some $$ and enjoy ourselves here but we didn’t have masks and they didn’t offer to provide them so we were forced to leave empty handed. Oh well. We won’t be back, even when we have masks….sad it’s come to this.
Asked if I can taste the coconut chip ice cream because Im pregnant and I wouldn’t want to order it and dislike it and the rule is they dont do that anymore is what the young lady said not her fault , but then I pulled my mask under my nose for like 2 seconds because being pregnant ?? my breathing is restricting seeing as how I practically ran down there to try it and the white chunky lady was rude about it said can you pull up your mask please instead of say im sorry we have to keep our masks up at all times .... its a bit ridiculous especially since most customers like myself are vaccinated I just would’ve appreciated it if she was more courteous about it. Maybe be more conceous about the type of customers rather than assuming I was pulling my mask down for no reason ?do better with customer care .
Fast friendly service and very very tasty ice cream! They make their own waffle cones in house apparently and they’re incredible. The shop also sells confections like fudge, brittles, caramel apples, etc I would love to come back and try them. Kilwins is very consistent so even though it is a chain with multiple locations the quality at each one is exactly the same.

Ice cream was good, but their public restroom is closed to the public. Not great when you take the kids to celebrate after school. Had to walk across the street to the Hyatt. I just think if you’re going to be open to the public. Be open. Another customer came in whose small child had to use the bathroom as well. Luckily I recommended the Hyatt.
The ice cream was so delicious. I had the toasted coconut (Heaven) and the New Orleans Pralines (real pralines). Ice cream coma right now.
Excellent chocolate! Clean! Lots of fresh choices of ice cream and other treats! Plus they have gift boxes for shipping! Go today! Strongly recommend!
