First time visiting this place. When I entered the door, the young lady behind the counter just stared at me. She didn't greet me or say "Can I take your order". Finally I asked her was she ready to take my order. I ordered the hibachi steak & shrimp to go. It was a 10 minute wait so I left and came back. When I came back to pick up my order again no "Thank you", "Please come again", nothing! I don't spend my money where I don't feel appreciated. Good customer service is still important and for me, expected. Eating out nowadays is expensive so at the very least be courteous. The steak was undercooked (visibly red in the center). Consequently, I wasn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked when I ordered it. I don't eat raw meat so I had to properly cook it when I got home. The steak was favorful and tender which is why I gave it 3 stars. Shrimp and vegetables were average. The white sauce was good. My first experience is a lasting one!
Delicious, quick meal! I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and ordered a large clear soup, garden salads with ginger dressing, and chicken, steak, and shrimp hibachi. They do have hot sauce if you are interested in spicy. The soup was delicious. The salad was FRESH - easily the highest quality salad I’ve had at any hibachi restaurant (even expensive sit-down restaurants). The sauces - ginger dressing, yum yum, and ginger - were all delicious. No complaints. The portion was definitely satisfying. I still have some leftover for later today. We did choose to sit down and eat, though you can take it to go!Give this place a try. Support local business!
Decided to pop in here for chicken hibachi lunch for $8! It was a great decision, they give you a good ratio of chicken, rice and veggies. Their white sauce and ginger sauce are both 10/10! There are tables for you to sit inside but I took it to-go.
Reasonably priced Japanese fare, without the show. Great quality ingredients, and well executed, it inspres many new members to the Clean Plate Club. The atmosphere is casual. The dining room is small and cozy. A language barrier sometimes leads to minor mistakes, but they are quickly corrected. This is a nice place to take your spouse, on a weeknight, when neither of you feel like cooking.
This is a great spot for takeout or for a quick bite. We had the crab Rangoon and the Kazu Chicken. They use white meat and the chicken was breaded light and fried crisp - so good!
Definitely one of the best hibachi places in Raleigh. I don't know how they do it but the beef they use is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Highly recommend.
I just tried this places for the first time. The food was excellent...very fresh and perfectly cooked, both meat and vegetables. Glad they opened in my neighborhood, will be going there regularly.
We love Kazu! Delicious food, and I am always impressed with the cleanliness every time I walk in. It’s like they clean the place after every meal they make! We are always satisfied with the quality and taste of the food; it is obvious that their ingredients are fresh.
Best hibachi takeout in Raleigh! I will be back.
I had hibachi chicken. Cute decorations, pretty environment. Fair prices/portions. The food was a little salty but besides that, amazing!
