I am reviewing the K and w off Bastian lane in raleigh. The food here is always old. The last time I went she scraped all the old dry potatoes and put them on my plate and the same for the macaroni. II also oredered a peice of cake and ended up throwing it away. It was so old even the icing was gritty. Horrible food and service. If you want Good Quality food try the D and S cafeteria off buck jones road. It is always fresh and well staffed. Also sooo many more food options than the k and w in raleigh. The food there is always full and fresh and hot. No bottom scraping there.
K&W Cafeteria was amazing. The food was excellent. I will definitely be going back next time i visit my dad.
It was good ?. Like always in K&W my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I took broccoli salad, kale salad, beet salad, baked white fish. That's it. Later I asked waiter to bring me 4 peaces of lemon ? so I made lemon water. Good tips in appreciation.Thank you very much!!
My daughter and I went here for lunch. She got baked chicken w/ rice and gravy, green beans, and okra. I got the cubed steak w/mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potatoes casserole w/ raisins.
Best food , we have been coming a couple of times now , the worker's have been so nice and the helper that takes your tray is so sweet , will be coming back soon
Ate here for lunch been a couple years since I've been here. First impression they weren't doing much business only about 15-20 people eating here and it was like 1:15-30. Got vegetable plate if broccoli, mashed potatoes and string beans. K&W used to have real mashed potatoes these tasted good but I think they were instant and they were too salty. The green beans were below average the broccoli was good. I also had mixed fruit salad and it was good. Carpet starting to look a little worn and the front doors need adjustment. Not as good as D&S Cafeteria in Cary which I frequent. Probably won't be back.
The manager is the rudest human being and needs to find another job. Terrible job organizing Christmas orders and didn’t want to sell food or pies. Why was there not more made ahead knowing that people were coming in. Couldn’t order ahead because when you call earlier in the week they said no. Other locations are much better at organization and selling food for the holidays. With a company that is struggling this only hurts business.
Great cafeteria style food but don't eat that sugar free chocolate cream pie. I think sugar-free blueberry is a better option.
Food was wonderful!! Staff was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. Pricing is very reasonable and you have alot of choices in the food you get!!!
Sister and I ate Thanksgiving dinner, food was very good. Not a terribly long wait due to waiting till 2pm to go. Food good and a very reasonable price.
