We’ve been here twice in the last week. It’s close by and the food was decent the first time. The problem is the flies. They are everywhere. I felt like a horse in a field on a hot day shaking my head trying to get the flies off of me while trying not to smack myself in the face with queso covered hands. If it’s this bad in the areas customers can see, I can only imagine how it is in the back. I took pictures of 3 or so of them. There were more. As soon as I stopped swatting at them they ended up right on my food.We ordered the exact same thing both times and it was not the same. First time the chicken had a really good sauce on it. Second time it did not (and was way over cooked), not nearly as good. The staff seems… unbothered. By anything. Stand at the front desk waiting to be seated for 10 minutes while a line forms? ?♂️. Sitting at your table waiting for drinks for 10 minutes? ?♂️. Getting your food before your queso which should take 2 mins to pour into a cup? ?♂️. Forget your silverware, plates and sour cream? ?♂️I don’t think I’ll be back.
Great atmosphere, tasty cocktails and good food with ample portions! Went on a late Saturday evening after a soccer match and enjoyed the experience. I had the BBQ mole chicken tacos and it was very tasty. My mojito was delicious as was the margarita. Our server was friendly (but also busy with several other tables) and the upbeat reggaeton-heavy playlist kept us in a festive mood.Only major negative: the chicken on the kids menu item was very bland and dry without any seasoning or sauce at all. My great-nephew is not a picky eater but could not eat his so we shared ours with him. Other than that, it was a good time and we will definitely visit again! *Dinner with 3 cocktails was high 80's for four of us including a school-age child, not counting our tip.
Chose this place on a wim and definitely regret it. The decor was nice, the salsa, chips and queso were good. Other than that, service was slow, we didn’t receive our drinks until after we had eaten and the mix margarita that my wife ordered was so sweet she couldn’t finish it. My corona Rita was fine. The food was lack luster and burnt. This is the first time I’ve had to pick bones out of my birria tacos out of the few times I have had them from other places. Also, the long winding journey to the bathroom is not ideal, especially had we ordered the Margarita tower like we originally planned. Lastly as you can see from the picture of the front of the restaurant, they leave the door open so we fought flies our entire meal, one even landing in my wife’s water. Won’t be back.Update: We had a $77 bill, we tipped $2 despite the terrible experience just to see a pending charge for $83. Don’t eat here. Would leave 0 stars if possible.
First time going and it was delicious not to mention great service as well. The portions were great they didn't skip out on the meat! Great place I can't wait to come back.
Today I went to a very good Mexican restaurant for the first time. The place is decorated like a street in Mexico, it has good music, the attention of the young woman in charge of our table was very good, although the food service was slow; maybe it was because there were so many people. Drinks were very good, we ordered margaritas of various flavors and they are all very tasty. The dishes were very abundant and tasty as well. It was definitely a good experience. It surely won't be the last time I go to this place!
Excellent food and service! This restaurant deserves 5 stars easily, especially when compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area.Prices are reasonable but the food itself is fantastic! Huge portions with lots of premium toppings. Staff was attentive and very friendly.
First visit.. all of the food was really really good the best authentic ELOTE outside of Texas, The pimento queso dip was wonderful so we needed the large basket of chips they give you!!! The portions are huge, both of us could not finish one plate, we will be back
The place seems nice. We ordered the nachos and adding grilled chicken. It was a little dry on the queso cheese dip, so I asked if it were possible to get just a little more to put on. (For reference, the picture is sour cream, not queso). I specifically said if it costs more to not worry about it. The server says okay and then brings out a tiny amount to find out I was charged 1.99 for. That was a little annoying, but other than that the good was good.
The food is awesome and flavorful, the service is friendly and attentive, and the decor is beautiful! Not pictured: I had the mango agua Fresca as well, it was so good, huge serving and refillable! We had queso dip, soup, tacos, flan and the agua- for $40. If you enjoy Mexican, run, don’t walk, to try the food!
What can I day, was blown away by the food here. After a long day at the office a colleague and I enjoyed the fabulous salsa, guacamole, fried brussel sprouts. chicken mole Tacos and Ahi Tuna Tacos. Service was great as well, I would highly recommend this place.
