The sloppiest of the JJ’s I’ve ever been to. Sandwiches are a hot mess, completely falling apart and not put together well at all. I feel like they just punt kick them to the front counter when they’re finished making them. I live super close to this location but drive down to the JJ’s on Page road to get a sandwich that looks like a sandwich and the staff is so much friendlier there too. Drive 10 mins down the road and get a completely different experience.
I have a similar situation to a person from last week. I ordered DoorDash from here specifically because the wait time was the shortest (only around 19 minutes). It is now 30 minutes later, and it is still in the preparation phase (no driver assigned yet) so I called to see if it was still coming. I began by saying that I hated to be "that person" and asked where my food was. The person answering the phone was nice but sounded flat. He said it was "probably" on the way, that they had a lot of walk-ins (which makes sense since I ordered during lunch time) and only 3 delivery drivers. Unsure why DD told me I'd only have to wait 19 minutes. I will be updating this review when I get my food.
honestly doesn’t even deserve one star. order my food through doordash and it was supposed to be delivered soon. took longer than an hour and 30 minutes, called the store twice and they said the order was on the way both times. rude on the phone. no reason it should take this long if it’s been on the way twice. they confirmed the order was delivered even though it’s still on the way.
DON’T make a delivery order. My order was wrong, sandwich were not the ones I ordered and the one sandwich that I did, didn’t have the correct ingredients. I was notified that my order was delivered and nothing was at my door, mot until 20 minutes later. I don’t know what they are doing and what the drivers are doing. I tried to call the store a number of times and the phone just kept ringing. I couldn’t even get my correct order or speak to anyone.
AVOID if you're ordering delivery. It's been over an hour and a half and my sandwich hasn't been delivered. They don't have the staffing to run the business correctly.
You are super stingy with the avocado spread on the beach club. Could hardly see the tiny smear on my sandwich. Ordered 4 and they were all disappointingly sparse. It has not always been this way....get your game back on track!!
Sometimes decent, sometimes a miss. Often times I customize and ask for pickles or mustard, only to drive home and see that nothing requested was put on the sandwich.I also will second another comment mentioning the amount of meat on the sandwich. I understand there is a corporate ounce amount for each sandwich for many years, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the workers themselves are putting that amount.Someone else mentioned it not being fresh and I can second this as I felt somewhat sick after eating half a sandwich.I wish the Page Rd location was open later but the location of this place is convenient
They are going to have to do better. Today my sister and I visited and it had been a minute since I had the well known tasty subs. I don’t know what so got today?! It didn’t even taste like a Jimmy’s sun, no vinegertte, too much Mayo, and it one thing smelled a tainted/spoiled. Not sure if it was the cheese or the Mayo. The guy at the front counter had on shades I’m assuming because he may have been either high unless his eyes were dial aged or something. It’s a travesty because I know JJ’s can do better than this. Not sure if I’ll ever be a customer again, complete let down. Note to owner if you can’t find anyone that cares about working there even for some side change just close the facility don’t make your customers suffer. I wish I could have given this 0 stars.
Ordered delivery to a job site. They said it was out for delivery…. Three hours later it said it was delivered. it was not. Contacted corporate… who contacted the owner who sent me the attached email. No refund. No credit to another meal. I love jimmy johns! But seriously that’s just ridiculous. I strongly suggest not ordering delivery from this location unless you just feel like donating your money with nothing in return!
I used to work for Jimmy Johns in Gboro years ago so I know what freaky fast is and should be. I even understand the occasional mishaps like not having enough drivers for delivery.This place is getting 1 star because their customer service was terrible along with the fact that it took more than 90 minutes to recieve our food that was only about a 7 minute drive from JJ.We called an Hour Into waiting for our food and was told that it was out for delivery. We said it has been out for delivery for an hour- can you update us on the status. We were told NO, there isn't a way for us to update you. We don't know when the driver left or where they are..... so we waiting another 30 minutes before my husband goes up there to the store thinking either our food was delivered to the wrong address or something else has happened to the driver. We actually had a guest a pur house waiting on their lunch who was needing to leave shortly. As my husband was there waiting for them to remake it, the workers there were making snide comments on being freaky fast.... then our food was delivered finally to our house. I called my husband to let him know- they had not even started to remake our order at that point and no offer was made to make our experience better. None what so ever. I'm not saying we should have had a free meal but some kind of apology would have been nice or a credit towards another order.Honestly, I don't even think the sandwiches were good. They were soggy and sloppy looking. I won't be ordering from them again. If I could give them Negative stars I would. Customer service isn't easy but it's not rocket science. Don't make sarcastic comments about your company in front of customers and when your customers aren't getting good service, own up to it and try to make it better. If you can't live up to your motto subs so fast you freak- then maybe this isn't the job for you.
