Twice I've had the Neckbones. All I can say is WoW!! They were "Superb!" Took me back to a wonderful time in my childhood. I will be back. Mrs. Lee
Kind staff. Fast service. My scallops were a little rubbery but the fish was perfect.
The food is good depending on the days and times you go. The grease needs to be changed often for the fried good. I'm just wondering how much business this place loses due to no one answering the phone when they're open?
If I could this a lower then one star I would. I am beyond disappointed and sadden my order. I was turned on to Jack's Seafood by my cousin. Especially the Quarry Rock location. I only had minor issues with this location. However, today that all change they TOTALLY screwed up my entire order. I a pork dinner and steak and gravy with rice. For my two sides for the Pork Chop dinner I was to get fried cabbage and french fries. And Steak dinner was supposed to be fried cabbage and greens. Plus I ordered string beans in the $2.50. Let's just say that my TOTALLY screwed up. I didn't get my string beans which I paid extra for. My side order of fries was in the beef and gravy dinner with rice. And didn't receive my of greens which supposed to be in beef / gravy and rice. I hate it but Rock Quarry location is just as bad as the New Bren Avenue location. You try and support Black businesses but the unfortunately have horrible customer service.
Hi we travel to Raleigh, for an the Genisis Extreme Cheerleading and we wanted so good Ole southern home-cooked soul food. So we searched the web and found Jack's Seafood Restaurant. The food was Amazing. If you travel you might think that this Restaurant and the right side of the road is just another stop but please drop by there the food is great, the Catfish tasted so good, fried perfect. I had a flounder meal my fish was great, collards tasted so good, everything was great. I will come back!!!!!
I'm trying to support a local business, but you make it super difficult when I call 3 times in a row and get no answer or the fax machine picks up at 7:35 to 7:41 pm. If you're open till 9pm, answer or something. Own your google space or keep updated hours or something, please. It honestly is hard to hear companies crying the blues, but when you try to reach them, their tech game betrayed them..... Oh well, cookout, here we come.....
Jack's is out of the way but glad I came across it after so long! I got a shrimp burger and large fries. The shrimp burger was great and had some coleslaw on the side. Fries are decent but I did fill like they gave me a lot with the large. No dine in so glad I ordered ahead online and was able to pick up and go try it out at home anyway.
I've been eating here for years. I love the staff and the food is great.
Some of the best Soul and Seafood in town will definitely be going back. Thank Ya'll For The Experience
Delicious fish. I've tried trout, flounder and catfish. Servings are hefty. Got two sides per plate. Veggies were seasoned like homemade.
