Amazing chicken, amazing food. All the food was made fresh to order. The hot chicken was moist and spice was not over done. The mac n cheese is some of the best I've had. Thanks for the great food!

Food was amazing, better than him cooking. We ate with a party of 3 and the chicken with mac and cheese is to die for! Sweet tea was just perfect for a nice summer day.Word if caution if you like spicy. I wanted to be super brave and Make sure you can survive the Carolina reaper... otherwise habanero is fine.. service is off the charts and they treat you like family. Next time i visit must do this chicken again... ? ?

The food was hot & fresh but The lady at the register was not professional instead of greeting me she played on her phone until i finally said something to her. She honestly acted as if she wasn’t even worried to take my order. I also asked her what was the most brought meal she shrugged her shoulders, wouldn’t expect this kind of behavior coming from an older lady but I’ll give an overall 8 including the service.

Absolutely delicious. The hot chicken was genuinely spicy, and all the flavors in the chicken & waffle sandwich were great together.

Food was delicious. I got the bbq sandwich. I will be back to try other things. Service was friendly and speedy. Love that it is black owned.

*ATTENTION SPICE LOVERS*The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is massive, packed with flavor, and somehow incredibly affordable. For anyone with an interest in extra spicy, please keep in mind that, as a capsaicin enthusiast, the “extra hot” rub with Ghost pepper, scorpion, and reaper, is absolutely not joke. It’s the single hottest bite of food I’ve taken in my long journey to find the most powerful spicy food. If you buy it, ask for gloves and buy some milk from the smoothie stand next door.

The lady at the register was polite enough, but I couldn't help but think she could care less if I was standing in front of her, about to spend money. I don't remember her smiling at all.I also noticed that the paper above her head with the menu on it read that the item I was about to order was actually at $12, not the $12.99 that I was being charged. My bad for not saying anything.I got a Hot Chicken and Macaroni and Cheese bowl--except that I ordered it "Mild." The chicken was cooked well, and was hot (in temperature) when I got it. It might have been delicious--juicy and tender, but for the fact that their "Mild" seasonings set my mouth on fire.Yeah, I know. It's HOT chicken, after all. Seriously, y'all, I enjoy a bit of heat when it adds to the flavor of a dish. I can handle my share of it. But I don't always want or need heat in what I'm eating--especially a Southern fried chicken dish. I asked for mild for a reason. This was nowhere near mild. I ate what I could, but in the end it pretty well ruined the meal for me. Given the whole of the experience, I won't be back.

Very delicious food! Wasn’t a place I was planning on going to originally but had some free money from OfflineRaleigh and decided to check it out. Delicious and fresh food, some of the best hush puppies I’ve had. Fiancé said the chicken sandwich was moist and hot, true to ordered spice level. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the lady who was working wasn’t the friendliest. Honestly I’d probably give 4.75 stars if I could!

The hot chicken sandwich was out of this world amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try to try much else because they were so busy and ended up running out of everything. There’s a reason why they’re running out. Really really good and worth the trip.

Service was fast and the food was good but the breading to the chicken tasted like it had something weird in it like too much baking soda or something. I am not a huge fan of tater tots personally but they made theirs very crispy and seasoned them with something like old bay or Bojangle’s fry seasoning. The Mac and cheese was very good but we were expecting a Mac and cheese “bowl” to have fried chicken chunks and it was really more like a big piece of fried chicken and a side of Mac all served in a bowl. Not my favorite chicken place in Raleigh but definitely worth a stop if you’re hungry and in the area.
