Was nice. Pool needed to be opened
It's a Hilton brand, so you pretty much know what to expect. We had friendly service, a pretty large room, free parking. Location was very convenient! Very happy with our stay!

Really nice hotel, reason why I typically choose a Hilton when I have to stay somewhere. Place was very clean and all the staff were friendly. I was a little sad we could only stay the one night. We even got some cookies after we checked in, which is a nice touch.The breakfast was good for $10/person, a much better deal than trying to find a place to eat in Raleigh. I have to give a shout out to the lovely lady at the breakfast buffet this morning, she had a unique name and I can't remember it. One of the guests was in a wheelchair and came down for breakfast. She set up a little table, and made his plate and some coffee, that was soo sweet of her to go out of her way to do that I thought. I felt bad since most people don't tip after paying for breakfast, but she definitely deserves it!Great place to stay for a good deal, you won't be disappointed!
Our stay at DoubleTree-Midtown, was impeccable! From arrival to departure, service was AWESOME! I had called 2 weeks before about accommodations and Haskell did a GREAT JOB accommodating and share some GREAT restaurants! Also, thank team Double Tree-Midtown!!! The front desk agents to Greg at the bar!!! Everyone was pleasant which is greatly needed during these times…. M.D. P.J.
Overall good hotel but needed to be updated in some aspects. Loved the greeters of the hotel and even got compliementsry points for an issue with the shower. But overall very good. Friendly staff, no loud noises good sleep
Our overall experience was excellent. The staff was welcoming, courteous, helpful and responsive to our special needs. The accommodations were quite good as well. The newly remodeled lobby area, restaurant, and ballroom has a modern beauty which is very pleasing to the eye. For many months, we worked directly with Laura Pelletier, Director of Sales, to make arrangements for a two-day event in the ballroom. We found her to be very professional, resourceful, very responsive to all of our needs, and excellent at problem solving. The room smelled horrible as soon as I walked in. I was also overcharged but approximately $50. I’ve contacted Hilton once but haven’t received a response. Saddened that I was my money as well as my points on this terrible outdated hotel. The elevators didn’t work properly, carpets smelled and appeared old. I will NEVER visit this establishment again. I’ve never had issues with Doubletrees in the past. Since my stay I found out this hotel was formerly a Holiday Inn which explains the awfulness of it all

A rewarding experience the customer service was professional. Changes brought about by Covid is noticeable but accepting. I missed the courtesy breakfast, the $10 for breakfast was different. And the Room Service is different. However, I am definitely not divorcing my Holiday Inn and it's points perks.
