I mean just NO! The seasoning for the food was watery. So that means no flavor to the food. If you believe this to be some good hibachi then you are sadly mistaken. The fried dumplings was by far the best thing I purchased. My advice is to the owner “Open the seasoning cabinet ASAP”!!!!!
I am newer to the area and I wanted to try a new restaurant I hadn’t tried before. I love hibachi so I decided on this place. First, let me say I give it 0 stars. The food had no taste and it was random pieces of something I don’t know in it. The white sauce helped it but I couldn’t finish my plate. I am very disappointed.
ARE WE HAVING A CHICKEN SHORTAGE? I ordered hibachi chicken and received rice and veggies (not cooked) with a chicken tease. (See the picture). Please look at all the pictures from not only my review but others that have gone there. There is a common theme of about 8 tiny pieces of chicken total! With all the Hibachi dining in the area maybe Hibachi 101 should be more on top of their final product. But if you are into undercooked veggies on a plate of rice with a bite of chicken… then give them a try…
Rude and Nasty!! Don't waste your money. They don't provide enough for what you are paying. Smh!!! People, trust me, food cost went up, but it isn't worth transferring the cost to you along with not being compensated with the proper amount/quality of food. Wake up! Clean your air ducts too! Can't keep cooking food while blowing dust everywhere!
First time trying Hibachi 101. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp. Overall, the food was bland. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning. Even the white sauce was bland. The rice was cooked nicely though, not too mushy or hard.
The customer service was ok. Nothing stellar but not horrible. They were courteous. The place is dated and old, a lot of the dining area is being used for storage. Nothing amazing here.The photos of the food look way better than the taste, by far. There was no flavor at all! One bite of my zucchini tasted like straight mold. I spit it out and there didn’t seem to be any but that taste was so strong, it most definitely was not right. Ended up just eating the rice with yum sauce and threw the rest away.Bottom line…. Do not recommend!
I see alot of mixed reviews. However, I loved their food. I ordered through delivery. My food arrived fresh, hot and quickly. I donot enjoy overly seasoned dishes , drowning in sauce.So , for me the dish was perfect. The vegetables, shrimp, chicken and scallop all had a flavorful soft texture. The white sauce(yum, yum?) was sooo good. I had the fried rice , which offset the mainmeal, nicely. Big portions!
This place makes me sad. I used to tell everyone I knew that they had the best hibachi. I went to this location and their location in Wilson for the last 10+ years.In the last 2-3 years their quality has taken a significant nosedive. My soba is always dry and in need of more sauce. Not the white sauce they give you, but the sauce it’s cooked in. It didn’t use to be so dry. Also the staff at the registers have had too much attitude and often act like you’re wasting their time.I hope they improve again but until then I’m not sure I’ll return.

Customer service is awful. The lady that works at the front is so rude. The service is consistently rude and off putting. The food is delicious, but the customer service really ruins for me.If you want more business, be nicer to people.
