We were looking for a place to eat a late breakfast on Sunday. Our daughter suggested Happy + Hale. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to order right away. We ordered the breakfast bowls and smoothies. The staff were professional and friendly. Our food was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be going back.
The reason I am giving this place two stars has nothing to do with the food. The food has been fresh and amazing every time we have eaten there. The service on the other hand is horrible. The last issue we had was we arrived at 7:10pm which is 50 minutes before closing time (according to their website open daily from 8am-8pm) and they had already turned off all the lights and were not allowing anyone in to order. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Blue Water Spa LOVES Happy and Hale! When we have an opportunity for a lunch and learn, a staff meeting, or when we just want to have a delicious and healthy meal, we can count on Happy and Hale! On Wednesdays we drink Pink! Yep, the Dragonade is a favorite. Look at the attached photo and you can see the seeds! YUM!The problem with Happy and Hale is that it can be so hard to choose! All day breakfast is amazing! All of their bowls and salads are exceptional. All so flavorful and healthy!Catering for a crowd is so easy and so appreciated by the Blue Water Spa team! I love the food at H+H—really delicious combinations of fresh, unprocessed (whole) foods. I’m grateful we have them in North Hills. The only constructive feedback is the service is a bit slow for online orders. I assume this is due to labor shortages. Also, the GF cookies are good but PLEASE insist that your vendor, JPS Pastry, date their packages. Some of the cookies are clearly past their freshness window (stale) but there’s no date at all on the packaging! Would be great if you could fix that. Thanks for all you’re doing to provide us with fresh, delicious, healthy food!!!
The place looks really cute and the staff were nice. The reason I’m giving it two starts is because the açaí bowl was bad. The smoothie part was freezer burned and icy. And about half the bowl was granola. I haven’t any of the other food items so those might be good. I just wouldn’t recommend the açaí bowl.
Great food, wouldn’t recommend the drinks (they’re not at all sweet and kind of icky) ? the chimichurri sauce is AMAZING
I've had this place a few times (I always order the Hale Caesar) and the customer service is awesome!! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Its always hard to find vegan spots and I'm soo glad this place has a large variety! Definitely recommend!! I wish they had a Happy +Hale in Charlotte!
It's sad to see how downhill this place has gone. The food used to be fresh and tasty. And the service used to be great.Every time I've gone recently, I've been very disappointed. The food has been really bad. The rice is rock hard and all the food just seems to be low quality. The service has also been rude. Not surprisingly, there is hardly anyone in the restaurant anymore.I reached out to them with my concerns many times and never heard back. It's sad because Happy Hale used to be a nice local gem. Let's hope they can turn it around.
The staff at Happy + Hale are incredible and friendly. They are the epitome of great customer service and the food is always fresh and my order is always right. I wish all places had staff as nice at the ones at Happy + Hale and they will continue to have my business always!!!!!
Low quality meat. I came back for a refund was accosted for not wearing a mask. However there were several other patrons who were sitting down NOT eating and NOT wearing masks??When I pointed this out to the employee who was bothering me her response was “but they’re sitting down.” Super logical. News flash: COVID can’t spread at tables or if you’re sitting.They also were “not able” to refund my order. I ended just leaving to avoid further confrontationI won’t be back to this location ever again.
