Went there just to try new food in the area and was disappointed. The fried rice was the worse I've ever had being some kind of generic orange rice that probably came in a bag. The best tasting thing they provided was the steamed rice. Do yourself a favor and avoid.
How is this place still open? The food and service are horrible. Most of it tastes like frozen food you get and make yourself. What's up with never answering your phone and why does your red sauce taste like ketchup and cayenne pepper? There used to be a great place down the road next to the Harris Teeter.... No way the food is even remotely close to the taste and quality. Save yourself... Avoid it. Drive 2 miles in any direction for better.
Hands down the best? Try any other place. This place is gross and unclean. Maybe the high school kids like it, but I'll never go bad. Blah.
I actually really like this place but I don't like the fact that I leave work in Durham and I can call 24 plus times and never once get through. Ordering early is essential at this location
Food is trash. Taste so freaking horrible. Ewww chicken is the worst
The food was ok. They forgot my egg roll for my combination platter.
I had to pay extra because I ordered online, apparently to Postmates? Why in the world am I paying extra to order online and pick up myself? In addition, I didn't even receive the rice that came with my order, and this is a Chinese restaurant! Very small portions and poor quality for a premium price as well. Needless to say, I will not come here ever again.
I decided to try this Chinese restaurant since the one I usually go to closed down due to staffing issues.I cannot believe how bad the food was. I know this place is close to the local high school and some of those kids might like it because it's cheap and close, but you would be better off taking a frozen Chinese dinner and let it thaw out all day until it reaches room temperature. That is what the texture was like.I ordered General Tso's chicken, which is a pretty common dish. I've had good General Tso's chicken and I've had OK General Tso's chicken, but what I got was the cheapest possible spongey breaded chicken nuggets in what I can only describe to be a ketchup-based sauce heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper for effect. The rice was fine. :|I won't give this place another try, I'll drive another couple of miles to somewhere else.
We like the food here. And it is close to home.
Second day in a row getting hair in my food. Disgusting
