One star is generous. The belligerent front counter employee chuckled after I requested the food I had just paid for, and then stated boldly, “I was just spittin’ on it.” I responded, “awesome dude,” at which point I exited, and while I was standing in the parking lot next to my car, he opened the front door of the restaurant, and while standing in the doorway, asked “Whatchu just say to me?”Clearly this person was not interested in meaningful discourse and I chose to end the encounter so that he could avoid a run-in with law enforcement. I implore this location to fire this employee immediately and better screen its employees because evidently overpriced, mediocre food coupled with unprofessional employees is not a novel theme.
take this review how you want. five stars to the guy who answers the phone and knows all the sauces. not the most professional guy but he got the job done and had some personality. 2 stars for the food. over priced and just not good. 4 stars for the delivery driver. arrived in a timely manner. we know you’re the manager john arnold. recommend if you’re not in a bad mood, you’re not hungry, and wanna spend a lot of money, it may not hit the spot!!!
I don't understand the recent negative reviews.Does Gumby's have the best pizza and wings in Raleigh?Hard no.Are they there for you at 1:30am, when everything else is closed, when you want that 20 piece wing or big ol' pizza? Oh ya...you know they are!If you want Mellow Mushroom then go there...If you want that real feel, no frill, straight to the point I need carbs in my belly....then look no further,and enjoy!
I ordered a pizza about 4 months ago and it never game. I have called the store 5 times trying to get in touch with a manager and they always say they are not in. They take my name and number but nothing has happened with how much I have reached out. The reason I have posted tonight is I was trying to give them another chance but they won’t take my order. I have called 3 times and will not answer. This place blows.

I ordered a pizza and pizza rolls online because I was in a rush and wanted to pick up and go. Well they forgot my pizza rolls aka half my order so I had to wait for them, wasn’t even offered to just have a refund since I said I was even in a rush, then I said can I at least get an extra MARINARA like the most simple thing, and was told no. I have worked alllll levels of the food industry and never have I experienced such decisive indifference in the way the situation was treated, especially with how simple my request was of a singular sauce to then be satisfied and leave a good review about “mistakes happen but at least they took care of me.” Plus now my pizza is cold. Was not the case. Won’t be back, won’t recommend, and will actively recommend against, purely because of poor customer service (isn’t the first bad experience in this area here).
This place over charge for food and its not even good. I order a medium 2 topping pizza with 10 wings and my total was $38 dollars. Its not about the money bc i paid but its the fact that the 10 wings was incredibly very very small. The wing quality was terrible. The pizza was pretty decent. Very disappointed. With this place. I ask for contact delivery due to the pandemic however the delivery driver still ring the bell until someone cam to the door.
Ordered pizza for NO CONTACT delivery and left detailed instructions on where to drop the pizza as I was working. I even spoke with a girl on the phone and told her that the pizza had to be given to the security guard at the front door. The driver didn’t read the directions and left with my pizza, it showed up ice cold and wrong!!! I ordered pepperoni with jalapeños and mushrooms and it didn’t have any pepperoni! Had the worst customer service experience with Vicky “the manager” on duty. She hung up on me when I was asking her where my pizza was and if I could get a refund and when I called back she said she was too busy to help me and hung up on me AGAIN! All I was looking for was dinner after working 12hrs straight. If you’re starving still don’t eat here it isn’t worth it!!!! Stay as far away from this establishment as possible!

They used to be really good but the last 5 orders have been really late, including the one I’m still currently waiting for as I type this, and cold. I used to order here a lot, I will never order from here again and I will be letting all of my friends know to not order here. Checkers has better calzones and pizza, and a slice of NY has amazing pizza. I’d recommend both of those places over Gumby’s.
