I came here after a friend recommended I go for dinner. She told me the chicken avocado arepa was delicious and it really was! Good size meal for what I paid. Food was quick and the staff was friendly.
I used to love Guasaca! I haven’t had it in almost 2 years and the quality has severely decreased. I wish I could get a refund because our GF and vegan arepas are inedible. When we took them out the arepas were mushy.

Two arepas more than enough of a meal.WISH:* Would have gotten a drink if they weren’t $2.60. $1 is a fair pricepoint for what’s basically fast food, limited variety, selfserve.* Have to ask staff to unlock restroom.
The best arepas I’ve had in Raleigh. The shredded beef signature arepa with cilantro and garlic sauce is to die for! Please bring back the shredded pork ??
Food is always delicious, however this visit I placed my order for curbside pickup, as it's my birthday and I had pets and children in the vehicle, and it did not go well. The phone number I was told to call upon arrival via my confirmation wasn't answered 3 times, so I had to pay to park, and go inside. Then the order wasn't ready, and lastly I had to wait as if I was in line anyways. It took an extra 20 minutes AFTER my scheduled pickup time to get my order. Why have the convenience of curbside pickup if you have to go in and wait in line anyways? Why have a phone number if it's not going to be answered? Not cool, Guasaca, not cool at all.
Ordered food for delivery via door dash. This store gets my orders wrong about 50% of the time. Extremely frustrating.They made it up to us - made a separate trip with the missing items. Hopefully we won’t experience these kinds of errors in the future. Upgrading my previous rating to 4 stars because of their efforts to keep this customer happy.
The food was fantastic and extremely fresh. I'm not huge on trying new foods; however, this was a great experience.
I had a signature veg arepa. It was fine but nothing too special. Definitely unique but a mess to eat.
This is by far the best place to eat both on Hillsborough and in my opinion the entirety of the NC State campus. I'm a student there and sometimes getting two shredded chicken arepas between my classes is the only thing that keeps me going for my 7pm labs. Love this place, friendly staff and amazing food, absolutely would recommend 100/10
Love this place! So much food for an amazing price! I like to customize my bowl and the ingredients are always delicious and fresh! The staff is also super nice and they move quickly and are generous with toppings! Def recommend if you’re an NC State student looking for a healthy and filling meal.
