Food tastes very good… friendly and decent staff.
Ok good has no flavor food is nasty I paid $32 dollars for two platters Mac & cheese do not come as a side like what paid 4 dollars for this little Bit I’ll stick to lee’s Jamaican food or my cousin I know good Jamaican food go to Philadelphia for it the meat was wet how do the beans and rice don’t have flavor ughhhh ewww never again you can’t be high prices and nasty ? pick a struggle wait till ya see the Mac it’s as nasty as it looks smh never will I ever the staff was nice but the food is horrible I’ll take bad staff and good food anyday then bad food and good staff smhhhhhh
I got there an hour before closing. There were a few people ahead of me, I was willing to wait they had excellent reviews and I was hungry. The service was great and the food looked delicious as I watched them wait on people ahead of me. I ordered a large oxtail plate with rice/peas and cabbage. My food was hot and delicious. And I had extra gravy. I couldn't eat it all, I had enough for the next day. This is definitely gonna be my spot for Jamaican for now own.
I took a chance to pop into this place on the 14th of May and was so delighted with the food and flavor that I had to come back 2 days later. The portion size for each plate I ordered was so large my family and I couldn't eat it in one setting. The food is well seasoned I was surprised. We ordered the rice and beans with oxtail, the yellow vegetable rice with curry goat, the pork (so succulent), the spinach white rice, the escovich snapper, and the barbecue chicken within the two times. Not one dish dish disappointed! The staff also is ver courteous and friendly, and the place is clean. So what if it's cafeteria style and few tables. Order your food, get it, and go! I HIGHLY recommend this place. I don't have pictures of everything but here you go.
Honestly the food is pretty good, however I’m not sure I will return due to the expensive menu items. The prices should come down a little. $55 for two dinners in a takeout cafeteria style restaurant is insane!
Finally they open one in this area. One of the best and quickest places to satisfy your Caribbean food cravings. Love the brown stew chicken, cabbage, and plantains.I like it is cafeteria style and just point to what looks good to you.

This place is beautiful. Nice and clean. The manager is very nice and even helps to serve the food. That truly impressed me because most times managers are usually seen when there is a problem, as they do not interact with customers.The food is delicious!!! A bit spicy, but has flavor too!!! I got many things there but my picture shows saltfish and callalou with spinach rice. So much flavor!!!I will definitely go back there.
First visit at this location. The customer service was exceptional, greeted as soon as I entered. The food area is clean and food is visible before purchase. I love that they are cleaning as they serve.Great choices on the menu. Today I ordered vegetable rice, cabbage medley, plantains and curry chicken. The portion size is amazing. I may have this for a few days or 2 meals today. Everything taste good. The rice could've cooked a little longer with a little more flavor. The cabbage needs a little more salt more tenderly cooked.The curry chicken is great. Plentiful and flavorful.I also ordered 3 different patties. The spinach patty is a great delight. We haven't eaten the jerk chicken patty nor beef patty yet, but will update when we do. There are many choices to get.There are so many dessert and drink choices. I will return again with my family. I'm so glad there's a closer location.. see you all soon.
