Really gross amounts of ricotta used in their ratio to mozzarella, had to argue about the amount of grease soaking the plate for double peperoni I didn't order, order details say Calzone - Pepperoni, not double to the point of it swimming in grease. You can squeeze the calzone and the grossly smooth ricotta just flows out in the most vile way. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually takes the texture of food into consideration.
If you like NY style pizza this is one of the best options in Raleigh. I have been here about 5 times or so and it tastes just as good every time. The staff is also always very friendly, which from working in the restaurant industry for a while myself, can be hard to uphold sometimes. My only wish is that they open another location closer to the east side of Raleigh because I would go there probably once a week
We have been coming here for years awesome pizza. Better than the pizza are the owners and crew that works there. Top shelf all of them .Old school Brooklyn feel I forget I am in NC when I am there... fogetitboutit
Traditional neighborhood pizzeria. NY style pizza is good but not great.Light on the sauce and portion of toppings are a bit meagerThat said, the pizzas are very good and competitively priced.
I’m from CT & I’m used to New Haven pizza & NY pizza. Best place I’ve been to since moving here. Great taste, close enough to it : 9/10 in comparison to real NY pizza. This is a spot for sure ! Also feels just like a NY pizza spot on the inside. My Husband & I enjoyed it so much we took 1 large pizza home. Just go try it!
We drive 40 minutes to come eat and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing!!! And love the staff. Thanks Gino’s for always a great experience.

This was our first visit and will definitely will be going back. As soon as I opened the door to pick up our order I was instantly hit in the face with a delicious aroma of food. We got a veggie pizza and wings. The pizza was delicious and you could tell it had been freshly made with fresh ingredients. This is our new pizza place.

Best pizza in NC by far. I'm from North Jersey right outside New York. No one makes good pizza out here except Gino's. My family from Jersey came to visit us last summer and we ordered Gino's for them. They even said it tastes just like Jersey/New York pizza and were raving about how delicious it was. The cheese and the sauce is amaxing as well as th dough. It's perfectly made everytime!
