Although the owner was nice, the food here was disappointing.A simple fried rice wasn’t flavorful. It was yellow in color for some reason. I’ve never seen a Chinese fried rice being yellow in color.We might give this one more chance.
This was our first time ordering from here. Picked this place because of all the great reviews. We ordered shrimp low mein, chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli and orange chicken. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. The shrimp was over cooked, hard and rubbery. It was very unpleasant. The rest of the food just didn’t have good flavoring. The food was ready in a time why manner and they were friendly. Good service, not so good tasting unfortunately.
Easily the best Chinese food in Raleigh. Single owner, single employee. He cuts fresh chicken every morning, and shuts down when he runs out. Do not miss this place. I've never had better General Tso's.I have stopped eating Chinese food unless I can get it here.
The food was made hot and fresh. The place looked very clean, including the view into the kitchen. The food is probably about 25% more food for what you get at a normal take out Asian. The dishes we got weren’t smothered in sauce since the quality of the food doesn’t need to be hidden. It’s good food. Would come back and recommend.
I love this place and I've had my fair share of Chinese/Asian cuisine. First off the owner really has a passion for cooking and for his place to be a ONE MAN SHOW (he prefers it that way) he cooks up some of the best Chinese cuisine I've had in ages. First off for all my rice lovers he has the original yellow rice(let us all indulge in a Nostalgic moment) the food is always hot and pick up times vary from 10-20min depending on time of day. Also he uses quality meats and less breading so you actually taste the flavor. Raleigh best kept secret for sure.
The owner was incredibly friendly and the food was DELICIOUS!! Such an incredible experience, for it to all be run by one man. I somehow managed to eat enough to not leave any leftovers, even though the portion size was huge! The fortune cookies even had good fortunes! Fu Kee Express earned a new customer today!
Sent my boyfriend out to get takeout. He literally called me after leaving the store to tell me about the excellent service. The food was very very tasty and the portions were large.
Always friendly and quick turn around time. I get it so often he dosen't even have to ask he knows my name. Great guy and delicious food. Highly recommend.
I am willing to wait for quality Chinese food.It's a one-man operation currently.Pretty much had given up finding decent Chinese in Tampa. Fu Kee was a welcome surprise. My family who lives here was pleasantly surprised as well.Patience pays ?
Ok so I placed a order with this restaurant I have never been there before just going off the reviews. I get there and I’m not sure of the pick up process so I call them and this unprofessional man starts screaming didn’t you just order, I’m trying to ask what is the pick up process and all I’m hearing is didn’t you just order. I will NEVER go back.How unprofessional was he.
