Good service, reasonable prices, generous portions. Not as wide of a selection as some other Oriental restaurants, but good enough - all the key combos of protein and starch with varying degrees of sweet and spicy. Good flavors! No soy or mustard sauce on the table, but they probably would have brought us some if we asked. They validate parking in the adjacent lot, just be sure to bring a photo of your license plate!

Five star has really hit their stride. The last couple of times I've been here, everything has been amazing. General Tsos Chicken, drunken noodles, lettuce wraps, tofu.. it's all good.

Outstanding!!Easily the best Hot & Sour soup and Kung Pao chicken since I was in the Pacific Northwest.Staff was efficient & attentive.Even though I wanted only water to drink, my glass never went empty -- I appreciate that!

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Raleigh! My favorite dish is the crispy sesame beef with a side of lo mein. Always a girls night or date night spot choice for me!

The restaurant is located in a great spot in downtown Raleigh and food is amazing. If you’re looking for a good asian fusion place, this is it! The portion sizes are also very generous. I recommend the crispy sesame beef as an entree and the Szechuan chili noodles as an app.

The most authentic Chinese food I have had here in NC ... My favorite Chinese restaurant EVER!

Food was good but nothing special. Thought this was a higher level Chinese restaurant.Service was poor. Wife's entre came out 5 minutes before mine.

Wow, some of the most original signature cocktails, appetizers and entrees were absolutely delicious! Great beer selection and some of the best staff I’ve run across! Highly recommend the heat seeker shrimp and the five star general tso’s chicken! Just try them out!

We use to order takeout from them when they were at their old location off of Hargett and the food was always good. Tonight was the first time for us ordering take out from their new location and the crispy beef we normally get was HORRIBLE!!!!! No flavor, No meat and all breading. Every time I took a bite it broke apart like wet splintered wood and I’m confident I would have enjoyed the taste of wood more than the flavor of this dish. This was unforgettably BAD! Unless they make a major change we will NOT recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of great eateries in Raleigh and the surrounding area.

Love that you can sub tofu or tempeh for many of the dishes on the menu. The crispy green beans were delicious and our favorite part of the meal. I would highly recommend the garlic and chili on the green beans. If spice is not your thing, don't worry. On a spice scale 1(low) to 5(high). I would give it a 2 haha, but the overall flavor was there and I would order them again. Our mains were good. On this visit we both had the Thai peanut noodles, one with chicken and one with tofu. I would be interested to try other offerings on the menu.It is located downtown. We paid for parking in the lot directly behind the building, at this time in Dec 2021 it cost $3.50 to park. It's worth a try if you find yourself downtown.
