Last WatchMy husband LOVES First Watch. I tend to be hesitant because I don't find consistency from location to location, and DEFINITELY not from day to day. I was hopeful today would be an exception. I probably should've kept my $40 AND my time, that I won't get back. My order: crabcakes Benedict, scrambled eggs, no hollandaise OR extra old bay on eggs. Welp. Apparently, no one got the memo. Oddly, the hour we sat there, no one even came by the table to ask the standard 'How is everything?' 'Can I get you anything?' (I asked a nearby table for jelly for my husband. Their server then brought my Mr some.) I think it was laughable that when we received the check, the server acknowledged I had not eaten. My response 'Everything was wrong. Just bad. I didn't like it since I didn't order it.' Why was I brought a to-go box? I get it, the world is short staffed. That explains why I couldn't find someone to help. I also need the service industry as a whole to understand that the average person chose to spend time & money at your establishment.Do make them regret it. I think I've had my LAST First Watch.

Had a great time at first watch! The line was very long but that’s expected on a Sunday around brunch time. We waited for about 30 minutes and we were told the weight would be an hour so that was great. We had a couple drinks mimosas were very strong and the cereal drink is a must have.

I got the Works omelet, with grits and toast. The sausage was sliced links, large pieces. Thick crunchy bacon, cubed ham, lots of onions and mushrooms, and enough cheese to make it tasty. They used yellow grits, good flavor, lots of butter, thick creamy texture. The toast was awesome! A thick slice of homemade multi grain bread, buttered, served with what tasted like a mixed berry preserve. Made for a good dessert! My wife had pancakes, with halved strawberries and some lemon custard. We'll definitely go again, I want to try their chorizo breakfast sandwich. Very good service. A bit more expensive than IHOP and Briggs, but the flavors were better.

Fresh ingredients. Breakfast favorites and creative seasonal dishes are included on a large menu. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Quick service. This is a primo breakfast destination. Update April 2022 -- Had a less than optimal experience. My wife had to practically tackle our waiter (Donni?) in order to get more hot water for her tea. He never offered to refill my soda. He left our check, then vanished. It was like saying, "Here's your check, I'm done with you." Our tip was under 20%, for the first time anywhere since the pandemic began. We watched as other tables with different wait staff got better service.

We had brunch at the First Watch on Capital Blvd. Ashley C was our server. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted, prepared the way we needed for our dietary restrictions. Food was great. Will definitely be back ???

My wife and I visited the First Watch at Plantation Square (6320 Capital Blvd) a couple of times during our visit to Raleigh. Like the locations we have been to in the Houston area, our visits have been great. On our Saturday visit, they had a crowded restaurant and a few folks waiting but the wait time was not long at all.

Food is Stupendous, if you can catch them on a 'good day': This location is not consistent, e.g., some days my orders are perfect (nothing missing or ill-prepared), other days orders missing items or are poorly put together! This is very disappointing when it happens, especially with the amount of $$$ I spend there, going to try another location! Employee-to-customer interaction is the same, UP (happy to serve) and DOWN (some reps don't seem to know what they're doing).

EMILY is great as a Greeter/Order Taker! 2/11/22 - Had First Watch for Lunch! My Roast Beef Sandwich and Fruit Cup DID NOT fail... The food is always fresh, well-prepared and filling! Give Emily and Mgr./Dennis a Raise, please!- Nicole

One of the best breakfast places around. Million dollar bacon is by far my favorite and is a must have. Melanie was such a great server. If you haven’t been you must try it.

Great experience! Melani was fantastic and would recommend asking for her when you come in!
