Wonderful experience and fantastic seafood. There are multiple locations in Raleigh who claim to be the best, look no further than Earp's Seafood. Be careful, there are some places who also claim to be Earp's or an affiliate - don't be fooled, go to the original! The staff was helpful and provided tips as well as ways to keep my seafood fresh. I always tell everyone to hit Earp's before a grocery store or competitor. Shop local first!
Had the best experience buying crabs form Earps last weekend. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. AND … these were the best crabs I’ve gotten in years.

Moved in town from New Orleans, Louisiana and thankfully stumbled upon Earp’s. Reminds me of a place back home ? crawfish I get there every week are always nice size. Go stop and say hi to Nikki, Jamie & the guys!
I bought 8lbs of "live" crawfish, to have a small crawfish boil for Mardi Gras. I was very disappointed to get home and find that 2.5lbs of them were already dead. I had assumed a few would be dead, but having a substantial amount like that found dead was very disappointing. If you are buying live shellfish from them, make sure you check it before you leave.
Always worth the trip to downtown Raleigh for FRESH seafood. Earp's is a mainstay in Raleigh and has shellfish, seafood, and accompaniments. Forget supermarket prices for seafood. Check this family owned business out. Staff is super friendly! Highly recommend!
Very friendly and nice staff under pressure of the holiday season! Place runs like a well oiled machine! Very nice, clean and plump oysters again this year! Hats off to Ricky! Must be a great employee...I've know him for years!
Place has terrible customer service , food just sucks , owners don’t have a clean place , abs treat their employees terribly would not recommend this place to anyone to go any of their establishments just overall not a good place
