This is my favorite Dickeys. They are fast courteous and the food is always great. After Being to a sub-par Dickeys in SC it's nice to know i have this one to rely on. Also, for people commenting on price, learn a little about the amount of labor that goes into smoking meats. BBQ Is not fast food, it isn't casual dining either. Meat is expensive and smoking takes time.
My wife and i decided to stop in for lunch. Overall, it turned out to be an average visit. On a positive note, the staff is very nice and helpful. The store is kept clean. Although COVID restrictions have been lifted, tables are still spaced, which is nice. The food is good. Today we got the pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was very tender and tasty. The pulled pork was a little dry, almost inedible without adding some sort of sauce. The prices are high. I ordered The Westerner, a sandwich with two meats and two sides. The cost was USD14.00 which is higher than expected for the quantity and quality of food.
First time eating at this location.I was skeptical at first, until I took my first bite. I was very impressed. The food was awesome and the portions were good as well. The price was reasonable also. The employees were very friendly & polite. {Nothing beats southern hospitality}I will be returning if I'm ever back in this area again.I will definitely recommend this location as well!
We were hoping to have a place to sit down for dinner. Found from Google that Dickey's in Glenwood do have dine in and closes at 9pm. We drove down from Knightdale. We arrived at 8.05pm. Ordered our food. Waited a short while. And all the food were packed in to go boxes. We told them that we wanted to sit down to dine in and we were told no dine in.They should have told us when we order our food and also place a sign at the entrance. This will be our last time to Dickey's at Glenwood.
I ordered a medium Brisket Chili, for $8.50, got home and took two bites. There were two tablespoons of the chili on top, the rest of the order was Mac N cheese in the rest of the container. I can’t eat flour, so I had to trash the “chili” after two bites. This couldn’t have been a mistake, and I will never frequent this restaurant again.
It was my first time here, stopped by otw to my nail appointment. It was awesome ?? first off I loved the customer service then the brisket was soo good sliced? with a side Mac/cheese and creamed spinach… thanks Y’all.. I’ll be back again
The slender gentleman that's on meats and fries... protect him at all costs. He's courteous and helpful, he made this first-timer felt like a usual. The food was delicious with perfect portions. I don't feel over stuffed, just completely satisfied.
NO NO NO. THIS location was dirty, my sides were luke warm at best. Customer service....poor.I'm originally from TX so my expectations may be a bit high for this establishment. Outside of that, I still feel cleanliness [especially] should be a high priority given the current stste this country is currently in. And at this price for a "fast food" venue, chrome service should be above average as well. Smile, at least!
1st time here. The staff was very helpful. My rating is based on the food not the service. The service I would give 5 stars.
