I wish I get a better experience than what it is now. I ordered a Chicken biryani for pick up, instantly I decided to change my mind for Vegetarian biryani. Then I tried to change the order immediately online but it said I will be charged for both. Then I tried contacting Dharani Express at Avent Ferry Complex to replace my order. But, No one really replied. I called multiple (manyyy) times but no response. When I reached there and requested , the guy said that the food is already made. When I asked I that I called multiple times, he replied we were busy in attending other calls . When I arrived there that guy seems to do nothing not really busy. So this way it says Dharani Express has the worst customer experience. Also , I feel the taste is not up to the mark. So, I felt that Dharani Express needs to improve their Customer Experience and the food quality.
Been here a few times, especially for lunch buffets pre pandemic and they were good.Took takeout from here this past weekend but was not too impressed by the quality. Chicken chettinad and bullet naan were good. Guthi Vankaya was average and chilli paneer was horrendous, never seen someone mess up that so bad.Would have deserved a lower rating but past experiences have influenced this one.
We picked up a catering order for a graduation party. Food was great, staff was accommodating and helpful getting it into car.
Terrible experience. Came here with my wife and kid. We've had food from Dharani in Morrisville and that experience in terms of both the food and the customer service was exceptional. This one takes the cake for one of the worst eating experience I've had. To start off, the place looks sullen - torn chairs, soiled floors. My clean plate had a speck of curry on it. We ordered the chole bature, Hakka noodles and chili paneer. The Hakka noodles was spicy, spicy enough to be used as a spice condiment on its own. The paneer was hard as a rock. The bature wasn't fluffy as batures are meant to be. The waiter only came twice to our table - once to bring the food and once to take our order. Raleigh has plenty of good Indian restaurants. I don't think my family will want to visit Dharani express again.
Surprisingly good food from a buffet lunch. Curry is spicy as it should. Today's buffet offered chicken vindaloo. The best I've had from around here. The buffet offered variety of dishes uncommon to Indian buffet and they were delicious. This was our second visit. We still love the food. Definitely will be more visits to this place.
Visiting from California, and was looking for good Indian food. Dharni express had very tasty food to offer. We ordered Malai kofta, kadai paneer and bullet naan. It was very yummy and fresh. I will definitely go again when in that area.
First timer....I went here for lunch with my family. I gave it a 2 star because the buffet food was lukewarm /cold and we had to wait for food to come out longer then 10 minutes. There is not a big variety of food and some of the items really missed the mark on taste. Not worth the money in MY OPINION.
We stopped here on our way to the beach and had chicken biryani and aloo paratha. Chicken Biryani was really good and we over-ate. Aloo paratha was not to my liking, it was more of a naan with a thin layer of potato filling.
Good part of the restuarant the taste matches typical north indian styleBad of the restuarant is they have worst washroom/bathroom which is out of service during business hours.
Food is really yummy! I plan on bringing my meetup group here too. I had the lunch buffet for 12.95. It comes with delicious selections and dessert as well as masala chai.
