Had a really nice dinner here! The sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had but was still very fresh and tasty. The roll selection was solid and varied. Prices were all very reasonable and the ambiance was great!
Love love love it here ! The sushi is excellent service is great, usually have no problem getting a table either. Love the squid salad (pictured). We celebrated our anniversary this year and the waiter was kind enough to give us complimentary sake tasting. Our favorite spot in Raleigh to celebrate !
Our first time here. Saturday evening celebrating our anniversary. No wait. The service was excellent with amazing recommendations. The pork belly and edamame apps were incredible! The sushi was fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Great atmosphere as well. We sat at the window high top table and enjoyed conversation and people watching.
Great experience every time I visit here! Servers were very nice and serves quickly! Foods were amazing all the time. I really like nigiri plates! Highly recommend it.
Really like the atmosphere, well designed and great lighting! To be in city market with the cobble stone street is nice! We had calamari then I had the crazy monkey roll which was really good! The Japanese whiskey and coke was good too!
City Market Sushi is delicious. Some of the freshest, best-tasting sushi I have ever had in the Triangle. Our server was attentive and kind on my most recent visit. The decor and ambiance is nice. Gets busy inside, make a reservation if you can. The only downside for me is that they don't have Lychee Martinis on the menu which are my FAVORITE sweet martini, but I'll gladly forgive them for not knowing to offer my person favorite. ?
The only negative experience- you'll have to wait 1-2 hours if you don't have a reservation for Fridays and Saturdays.Delicious food!!
Hands down our favorite sushi in Raleigh. Always fresh. 3 year update...still the best in town. They keep the menu tight and focused and the fish fresh.One thing I really love is the way they cut their fish for nigiri - it's generous, but sliced thinly and encloses the rice. You get maximum flavor, a great combination of textures and not just a big hunk of fish.
Small, charming place. Great staff. Incredible sushi. Am lucky we got in without a reservation. We shared 2 appetizers and 2 rolls and both were fantastic!
