This is my favorite barbecue restaurant in Raleigh! My favorite meats are the brisket and sausage. The banana pudding is the BEST!!The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly.
This place just keeps on doing it all right! I have been a regular customer since this location opened in 2017. I have to say that every time I go in I am impressed all over again. The food here is just fantastic and the rapport between the employees and every customer is unique. If you are ever having a bad day, just stop by this place and JoJo will make sure your day is a little brighter.
The only problem with this place is that everything is too damn good. Every time I come I want to order every side and get every meat. Normally pulled pork and brisket are stars, but they have the best smoked chicken that’s incredibly juicy and flavorful, and it’s impossible to decide between Mac, fries, slaw, and their corn pudding is absolutely delicious too. Their staff is consistently amazing and you can consistently see them proactively trying to make their customers happy. Great food, great vibes. Favorite bbq place in Raleigh.
The tables and floors are all terribly sticky, which is normally stomach churning. But in a bbq place it’s a sign of good food
We tried the three sliders but all decided the pulled pork option was by far the best. We liked it so much we bought extra to take home.
I had the city sampler with macaroni and baked beans. The pulled pork was really good and didn't need sauce. The brisket was decent(not the best and I've had worse). I don't really care for sausage but it tasted good the few bites I had. The macaroni and cheese tasted amazing, probably could eat a large amount of it! The baked beans and toast were solid, nothing spectacular. Overall it was good eat and will return in the future.
I came across this place last night with my husband. Food was amazing but customer service was on point. Dulce made me feel right at home and was very Patient with me since I had never been here. Being a restaurant owner myself I was very impressed with the food and service that we drove 30 minutes back tonight. Dulce was here again greeting us with a smile. We have definitely found a sweet spot and will definitely be a regular.
Great place to stop if you are in the area. Food was delicious. Fries were hot and fresh. Fresh baked chocolate cake I got to go and was very good. The staff was very friendly. It felt like you walked into your families house for supper. It is a little pricey but for the area and the quality of food we'll worth it.
Took my kids there and it was a fun experience for them. I’d give five stars but we couldn’t find a clean table when we get there. The food was excellent and it came up so quickly as well.
The BEST BBQ we've had in NC and we've been searching. My husband was so happy (and he's HARD to please). The staff was so nice and helpful. The chicken and brisket practically melted in our mouths. The sides were good, which is rare because most BBQ places focus on the meat! I had the ribs (chef's kiss). I really have no complaints. This will definitely be our go to spot for BBQ. It was worth the hour drive!
