They need to go right on ahead and shut this place down. I use to go here all the time back when I was in southeast high school like 2009but I haven't been back since then so what is keeping the place in business? I heard it's not clean and they have roaches crawling everywhere. Not healthy at all
First of all I live about an 1hr. & 30 min from Raleigh and I don't think there's but one Church's . With all these bad reviews I'm surprised it's still open. BUT let me say I love churrchs chicken some of the critics are true, I've seen homeless also I e seen them give people food, no excuse. I feel they need a management make over, & staff that chicken is Good I don't want it to close.
I don't stop here often so but I've had better from here. You can tell the staff was stressed and tired.
Chicken is always great but the service and restaurant. The inside was not very clean. One of the workers had 2 of their grandchildren in the dinning room waiting for her to get off. Nowhere to sit and the restrooms out of order.
Very slow and poor service, homeless asking for money and this place is in need of reconditioning of people, place, and everything else. Our black community need to take more pride in our appearance, approach and appeal. No cole slaw, no green beans, no mac and cheese.
I just got the three piece chicken combo meal or it was like the inside of the chicken Was burnt and edible. The only good thing I would recommend is their biscuits.

Great fried chicken and when they had seafood it was some of the best shrimp. The manager named Tawana Smith went above and beyond to make sure our experience was GREAT.....
Love this particular Churches Chicken because I attended school not to far from the there. The have always had the best service. Food is always hot!!
Churchs chicken for brunch, not bad if you got an appetite..i was surprised to see how busy they were at 10:30 am..?
