The food (Quesabirrias) was amazing. The aesthetic of the place is very welcoming, infusing the Mercado style with plenty of personality and instagramable pieces of art. Also has a nice open sitting area and a bar too
Best tacos I’ve had. I loved the suadero, it was so tender.
This is a happy find. My second visit and they didn't disappoint on flavor. Would get five stars except they ran out of bread for the torta sandwich. They were able to serve it in a bowl instead and the flavors were spot on. Each visit make me glad I decided to try them. Will be a regular addition to my dining out choices!
Yeah I ordered the birria tacos and I’ve never had tacos so bland… the cook didn’t fry them hard enough so the tortillas were soggy and broke apart. The meat was bland, tasted like it was boiled with a singular bay leaf. The rice and beans didn’t even have salt. They tried to make it look like the rice was flavorful because it was green… the consume was bland as well. I tried to fix it by adding my own spices. It looked flavorful but there’s no way there could be anything but food coloring in there. I’m surprised they had a 4.5 rating… they must cater to bland palates. For 12.99 they should be ashamed. The one star is because the salsas were good. 0/10 would not recommend don’t waste your money <3
The tacos are so full of fresh ingredients and VERY FLAVORFUL! Love ‘em! And when you’re here - look up! Great skylight decor!
My friend and I have been on a quest to find the best tacos in the area and this just ranked number one of all the places we've checked out so far. I had the vegan chorizo She had the regular chorizo. We love their cilantro rice. The guacamole was great and we love the drink selection at the bar.
The quesabirria tacos are the way to go! I ordered the 3 chicken combo plate and it came with a side rice and black beans. The sauce you dip the tacos in is soooo good! I also ordered the berry pineapple margarita and it was very tasty! I throughly enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is cute and a great spot for good food & cocktails!Side Note: they had Mexican candy available for purchase too!
Shut up Raleigh!!!! This place was insanely good. Authentic is the word I would best use to describe this restaurant. Every item fresh and made in house. Lots to choose from. We had the chicken quesabarrias and it was HEAVEN. Also the Elote asado was like a fiesta in my mouth. JUST SAYIN...ANNND don't even get my started on how on point their margarita game is pictures do no justice to how refreshing and balanced it was. They were one of the best I've had in the Raleigh area.
