We had a great time today!! We sat outside. The food was great, and the live music was so much fun!! Loved that it’s family friendly!
As a non-Cuban myself, but having experienced real Cuban food through family members and a trip to Miami, I would say this place offers an excellent example of Cuban food... But still a notch below what I've experienced. It was overall a very nice dining experience -- just not the absolute best. I'd gladly recommend it though -- just perhaps not to a picky Cuban looking for something as good as they remember.
After months of ordering take out and delivery finally got the chance to eat in. Food is fantastic as always and the environment is wonderful. I highly recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed. The Cuban is my favorite.

The food was amazing as always! ?We used to visit and enjoy meals at the Red Monkey restaurant! The environment is super tropical ?… love the vintage auto out in the front, as well! Friendly staff ?

To start every time we come here it smells like sewage, this time was by far the worst experience and probably going to be our last, my wife ordered the soup that was posted online that looked amazing, she got a bowl of tomato based broth and it seemed like it was an issue when we asked for contents since the bowl of soup is $13, my food was completely wrong and what I thought was chicken was disgusting and had an odd texture, I asked to swap plantains for yuca, ended up with both and no rice
Place had a great decore, our waitress said she has worked there for a while but new nothing about the food or drinks, got just about everything wrong. Asked for tacos with no onion but wanted cilantro, was told they were out of cilantro but low and behold other taco came out with the cilantro. And than to top it off they added 18% tip to the check, she was not worth it. Very disappointed had higher hopes for they place, don't see us going back there.
