A wonderful Italian restaurant in Raleigh with a friendly staff (Christian was a great waiter) and a charming atmosphere. The lentil soup, meatballs and spaghetti, manicotti and baked parmesan was delicious. A bit pricey but if you want tasty Italian food in Raleigh, go to Casa Carbone Ristorante.

We have been here before and it was great but we went for dinner last night and I ordered baked ziti. I only took a few bites and took it home. When I heated it up this evening I noticed there is meat in and I'm a vegetarian and don't eat meat. It does not say it has meat on the menu but when I called to let them know the person who answered the phone stated that there is meat in their baked ziti which again it does not specify on the menu. the person I spoke with basically disregarded the fact that if I ate this dish I would have gotten very sick seeing as I haven't had red meat in over 4 years

Food was really good. But it wasn't the cleanest. The windows needed dusting, and our table had crumbs all over it even though we were the first customers of the night

My fiancée and I had dinner last night at this restaurant for the first time. At first, I was so excited because I love Italian food. However, I am very disappointed of the service and the food. I ordered Shrimp marinara were the actually throw some tomato paste on it, the shrimp was uncooked and it was cold. I did not send it back because I am a big believer, we should never send food back. I will not recommend this restaurant at all. Awful experience.

It had been many years since I ate here. I had their lasagna, and a Caesar salad, this was good. We were a little disappointed in their rum cake dessert. The cake tasted a few days old. It came from the refrigerator and was very cold. Maybe it is how they do their desserts. Staff, and waiters all friendly. I would recommend you trying this restaurant if you have never been.

Visit from Philly 2ce a year and make it a point to come here. Never disappointed. Always a great experience. Looking at some of the reviews, it annoys me that Google does nothing to prevent ridiculous negative reviews. One person complained his dish, which contained lemon, was sour. Wow. If only there was a clue. Others complain that their dish was prepared as described in menu rather than how they are "used to". Maybe they should stick to Applebee's. This Italian loves this place!

I had never been before last night and I now know I’ve been sleeping on a GEM! The food was fantastic! The fresh bread at our table was so soft and warm. My salad was very fresh, the house dressing needs to be bottled so I can enjoy it daily!! I had the chicken sausage with mushroom sauce and it was so tender! Our server was friendly and answered my questions. Just a lovely experience overall!

Wow. It's been a long time since last we ate here but we will not make that mistake again. We enjoyed one of the best dinners in a long time. Calamari, stuffed clams (crazy good), chicken picatta, and the best Amaretto cheesecake... ever. Casa Carbone is back in regular dinner rotation for us.

Casa Carbone has been a staple restaurant in my family for many decades. I can truly say it's the best Italian food in Raleigh and it is always consistently delicious. Highly recommended!

The ambience in the restaurant was nice, and the service was friendly as well. The bread was good, also. As for the entrees, my wife likes the taste of hers, but my dish was very sour, more than a piccata usually is. I didn't finish my meal, which says something because the portion sizes were pretty small for the money. I might be open to giving it a second chance, if I got a different dish, depending on the price.
