Went to this establishment on May 21st. At the beginning, the service was good but I did not like the experience after I wanted to change my drink. I did not like the drink and the taste of it so I wanted to change it for something else. It was brought out by the manager which was okay. My friend decided that she wanted another drink but they brought out the wrong drink. After she told the waiter, the waiter took the drink back and brought another one. The second drink was not a strawberry margarita it was the same drink with strawberry purée added. My friend and her mother in law went to the bar to address the situation and the manager and the bartender was inappropriate. The bartender had an attitude and the manager stated, “We are not about to keep making you drinks for the same table and how do you know it is not the right drink?” Is this how you talk to paying customers? Anyone that pays their money anywhere will want to make sure their food and drinks are correct especially if you are paying a pretty penny. This was my birthday dinner and I am very disappointed with the service last night. The waitress was good but the manager and bartender were inappropriate.
We keep giving you chances and there's always something wrong. My boyfriend and I just went it in to get a take out order. I should've checked the bag before we left so that is my fault. However, my boyfriend's salad didn't have the egg he paid extra for, my steak wasn't well done and our app wasn't even put on our order!
This was only my second time there. Had a fantastic waiter, and actually some of the most flavorful food I have had in months. Met a couple of old friends there and we all agreed that we'll definitely be back soon. It's just such a wide variety on the menu and everything we had was delicious.
We were there to watch a Carolina Hurricanes game and had a great bartender at first. As soon as she left and the new one took over, we got absolutely zero service. 40 minutes and she didn't look at us once. We saw multiple people leave after dealing with the same thing.
Came here with friends for a nice happy hour and dinner. I thought the atmosphere was cool and the food was great. I got the chicken sandwich and a local beer on tap. I think it’s a fun spot for after work or on the weekends to watch any sports game.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Terrible service. I paid for an additional 6 sides of ranch and did not recieve a single ranch for my entire order. I also ordered bacon cheese fries for 2 of the entrees and recieved no bacon with a small amount of cheese, and about 10 fries. I spent over $100 on this food and feel the service is equivalent to McDonalds. Will never be returning to this location again. I suggest learning from the other locations on how to operate your kitchen/to-go.
I love this location, because starting with the hostess and waitress we were provided excellent service. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. The chefs did an excellent job with the food. My spouse asked the chef to pick the temperature for the T-bone steak meal bc, he wasn’t sure. He had the best medium and really was happy with the food. Overall, Calm environment and peaceful to enjoy good food and service.
Three of us had great salads and a great waitress, so no problems there. The atmosphere is a little weird in that it seems kind of dark and musty and the music is a little loud. There were also security guards at each door which made me feel like I was dining in Columbia or Venezuela. We are in North Raleigh. The place was 1/3 full on a Saturday night and we had to wait for a seat for a Waitstaff shortage. That was no big deal, but several nearby restaurants had hour long waits to get in. In short, his Ale House seems to be on the decline. They need to lighten it up or they won't be around in a couple of years.
