First time treat. Had a nice time! Flavorful and authentic. Being greedy didn't take a pic. No additional seasonings needed perfectly done. Presentation was ?. Lovely attentive ladies. All around good experience.
I tried this place because I got rewards on my credit card for eating here. In a strip shopping center with difficult access. The interior is nicer than it looks from the outside with decorative lights and paintings. However the atmosphere is somewhat ruined by loud TV shows. Ordered Chicken and Yellow Rice. The portion was humongous and the food was good. However the chicken had bones in it which I should have been warned about. The black beans that I ordered with the meal were good but more liquid than beans. Service was very slow. One staff member was more friendly than the other. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get the food and then about 15 minutes to get my check as the better wait staff person disappeared. Needless to say I won't be back
Every meal I’ve had here has been delicious. I know they cook the food fresh however, just be aware it takes a long time for it to come out so plan accordingly. Same for take out.
We had a very nice dinner. There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be back. I would also like to go here again for take out meals during the week.
Way too expensive. And they lie about their food. The waiter told me it was freshly squeezed lemonade, When I ask them To change it because it was too sweet he added water and it tasted the same. After I complained a second time he admitted that they were premaid
The best place to eat Dominican food. My family and I have been coming here for years! When my family visits we always eat here. Chivo is super good. Sancocho delicious. Todo es buenísimo!!! The cooks are sweet. Food is reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive.
Food was good, not the best. Service is horrible and dirty floors. The “ Bandeja Paisa “ from this place is a joke definitely NOT Colombian. Thank god I didn’t order it. Just reading what it had made me laugh what a shame putting us Colombians down lol. I will have to think about coming back.
Just ordered from here and I ordered Pernil it was so dry I couldn’t swallow it, the seasoning however was delicious but I had to throw it away. My son had chicken and garlic sauce which was very tasty so were the black beans. The Plantains and Maduros were also very good.I don’t like the fact that you have to know the pork is to dry just by looking at it and still serving it to customers and making them throw away their money. I won’t order again.
Everything is overpriced. $19 for a medium bold of soup, Sancho. Any sides are $6. F this place just go to Red Lobster and you will have a better experience than at this hole in the wall.
I came here hoping to have a true Dominican experience, and they delivered. The food tasted like it had been prepared by my grandmother, and it was delicious and nostalgic. The service was also excellent, and I would suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Dominican cuisine.
