THE BEST Chicago dogs in the world !! Get the Ditka dog for an amazing spicy. We go almost every Friday. Super nice couple working out of a trailer on a corner but super clean and quick. Picnic table with covering if you want to sit there and enjoy. Super delicious and inexpensive. Run, don’t walk to this popular top notch place! Support local.

I wanted to love this but just not at all authentic. The owners are not actually from Chicago for starters so that may explain why they put ketchup on my Chicago dog (and then denied and said I must have ordered it that way… no one from Chicago orders ketchup on a Chicago dog. I’m sorry. Just no. Don’t blame me for your mistake- just own it. Also a big reason I decided to write a review.). We also ordered an Italian Beef and the bread was all wrong and the sandwich was falling apart in minutes. The beef itself was ok but not authentic for sure. The best thing on the menu was the pastrami. It’s ok if you’re in a bind but these Chicago area locals won’t be back any time soon.
Great Experience! Moved to NC from Chicago about a year ago. Was missing Vienna hotdogs/Chicago style. Tried a few different hot dog places nowhere near the Chicago style dogs. I mean coleslaw? Ketchup? Come on NC! So happy to know Capones is available. The only downside I found was that the food truck didn't serve fries with the hot dog's. No problem tho the hot dog's were worth more than their weight in gold. Thank you Capones!
We stopped thinking we could get a quick hot dog. It took several minutes to order even though the line wasn’t that long. I ordered and he told me it would be about 10 minutes and wait for the second beep and that would be the signal that my order was ready. I was second in line hence the second beep. In this time three police cars pulled up and ordered food. 25 minutes later (yes, 25 minutes for four hotdogs) the second beep finally came so I got out of my car to pick up my order and he said it wasn’t for me but for the police. He then proceeded to chat to the officers several more minutes. Then he asked me what I ordered and I told him to just give me my money back. He apologized and said it would take just a minute to put the money back on my card. He did some stuff to the register and then handed me $15 dollars and apologized again. I left thinking the $15 was for my troubles and my money would be reimbursed because my bill was $21. But it was never reimbursed.
