This place has gone downhill. Have gone for years but the last few times I started checking the fish before I left the parking lot. I was there a weekend ago and received spoiled fish. There is no way the people in the back didn't smell it when they was cleaning the fish. When I mentioned it the cashier had such a nasty attitude and started yelling at me in front of customers but I had to let her know that would not he tolerated. This past visit was my absolute last!! I keep hearing go to Earp's so I guess it's time for a change. But if you still go to Capital Seafood, do a smell check before you leave....!
Was there today and the staff that helped me where great. However, not sure if intentional or not, but ordered live soft shell crab. All the signs in the shop and on the front door and even the one in front of the cashier says $7.99/lb. However, when they packaged it and brought it up, the cashier already rang it up without weighing it. When I asked if she was going to weigh it, she said no, its $7.99 each. I pointed to the sign that says $7.99lb and she pointed back and said no, its $7.99 each. Not what the sign says. I paid for it because it was already cleaned and packaged, but very disappointed in the false pricing. I would have never bought it for that price. I only wanted to try it but not at $7.99 ea. They need to honor their advertised pricing or advertised the correct price. I will not go back as I felt deceived and didn't want to make a scene.
Awful, lazy, dishonest, disrespectful employees working at this location (Capital Seafood-Market in Raleigh, NC ). We've called to verify if they had live crawfish, the person that answered the phone said yes, trusting that person's answer. We drove an hour to pick up the crawfish. When we arrived to buy crawfish, the women working (with attitude/rude) told us that they did not have crawfish. When we clearly saw crawfish in the back of the market. She/employees were just TOO LAZY to get it out of the sacs to sell the crawfish.
Wow amazing. You knocked me off my feet! I’m humbled and grateful. I invested $500 with Mrs CHARLLOTE WAYNE to see what trading online was like. A week later i withdrew a profit of $5,500 and then I really saw how much you can earn from the markets. I now invested $1000 and gain $13,543 a week, God bless her for me, she is trust worthy and i recommend her to everyone or anyone that want financial freedom whatsapp:+39 351-093-7250 Email :[email protected]

Good fresh but lazy workers. Trying to get to crab legs one last on the phone laid out others chilling outside. Next time I’ll pay extra money for better service
The fish is always fresh however my most recent experience was quite unsavory to say the least. On my most recent vist I was assisted by an older black woman. I picked out my fish but when I went to pay my card declined immediately she began to display a very nasty attitude (assuming I could not pay) In spite of the attitude I asked if she wouldn't mind holding while I got the correct card. She reluctantly said yes and began to mumble under her breath as I walked away. I returned in less than a minute to pay and miraculously her attitude changed completely. I've purchased from here several times with no problem and with the money I spend I at least expected a bit of patience and politeness.
It never smells great in there, but you can’t beat the freshness in the cost of that fish
01/03/22_Ordered 1lb of jumbo shrimp with the shells on. after getting home I noticed that there was old shrimp mixed with fresh shrimp and there was a foul odor. I called to let them know. They apologized and asked if i would like to come by and pick up more shrimp or something else. i declined. i told them that i was just calling to inform them before someone gets sick. Will not return. This is the second time that i had a problem with them, the first was years age. Not much has changed. Trust your gut people.
