The beer is great, we can’t argue this. We had better beers when we visited the Asheville location, but that’s the case of rotating taps. The bartenders here were not friendly and this is why I left 3 not 4 stars . The building and art is dope but again ,the bartenders are not very pleasant. I’ll come back bc I like good beer but don’t expect positive interaction from the employees.
Very eclectic place. Great beer, great hosts! IPA heavy, but don't let that dissuade you!
The bartender declined to serve my 21 year old cousin because his legitimate (not expired) out of state driver’s license was still in the vertical orientation. Beer is great in Asheville, but this Raleigh location just doesn’t quite do it…bad experience!
Great location and some of the best beer in Raleigh, but GET SOME SOUND PLANELS PLEASE! Gets damn loud in there w the brick and hard to hear and stay w the voices, dogs, and squeeky chairs.
In every brewery or taproom I've ever been in, I've always been able to try samples and get recommendations from the bartender. Not here. The bearded black guy very curtly said "No" to tasters and beer recommendations. The tone and body language basically told me to [email protected]#k off, so I left.
Some of the best Sour and IPAs I’ve had in a while . It was such a lovely place to visit while away from home ! I’ll surely be stopping by again. The bartender was very kind and sociable and the atmosphere is AMAZING !
outstanding beer selection, great artwork
Excellent time!Bartender was extremely knowledgeable.Wonderful atmosphere.Beers were tasty and delicious.
Best beer in Raleigh hands down for IPAs, stouts, and sours. Super dog friendly inside and it’s attached to Transfer Food Hall which has some great food vendors. Can order food and eat it in burial while enjoying some beer. Have an awesome to go bottle / can section too, separate from the tap room. Grab something before you head out. Always friendly staff. Outdoor seating is limited just due to the location but you usually find a spot. Great work Burial!
Knowledgeable staff that educate you on their beer offerings and what’s a fit for you. The art is an experience in itself and definitely worth exploring.
