Went in to eat before the Rangers-Canes game. Place stood out in the town. Great feel and atmosphere. The other diners treated us “well” considering we were wearing the Blue. Food was fresh and great and the menu accommodated all of us (had a bunch of kids there). Chris behind the bar made us feel at home and his personality made for incredible atmosphere. Our waitress was phenomenal though her name escapes me. Overall a really satisfying experience.
Great look. Cold beers and delicious food. I know where I’m coming before a PNC event from now on.
One of the better poutines in the ?, great beer selection too. The waiter was confused on items & beers a few times so took off a star, will be back before Canes game again.
Stopped here for dinner. Wonderful outdoor atmosphere. We travel a lot on the weekends with twin toddlers, this place was great for them. Short ride off I-40. Hands down the best cheeseburger I’ve had in a while. Terrific salads and don’t skip the Brussel Sprouts, they’re a treat!
Excellent food and great service! Definitely worth it!
Friends wanted to grab some cocktails after work and I decided to indulge sun the french dip. This was one of the best ones I've tried. Meat was tender, cheese perfectly melted, bun the ideal texture and then once you dip....YUM! Great outdoor patio space to enjoy the spring weather.
Every time we go to Bru's, we are more and more impressed with their food and service. Every single thing on their menu is delicious! They are *leagues* better than Honest Abe's (the restaurant that previously occupied this location).Bru's is our new favorite place to take people who visit from out of town. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
We left the canes game early last night to beat traffic and went to Bru’s for food & drinks and even caught the end of the game! Loved the pizza! Also had the chicken panini which was really good. Would definitely recommend!
We ordered a bunch of different foods as a group to get to experience a wider variety of items on the menu. Everything was very good. Truffle fries were excellent. Pork burnt ends with risotto was lovely. French dip was great - not too much bread. I didn't order the burrata salad but someone else did and I really regretted not getting it - that looked to be the very best item that was ordered (they were very happy with it).
After waiting for 10 min to even order i waited another 20 min until I walked up to the bar to ask where my drinks were. The bartender started yelling at me like it was my fault. I asked to speak to the manager but he said he was the manager. I knew he was lying. So I asked to talk to the owner. He then claimed to be the owner. He refused to get the manager and was cursing at me as I left. Its one thing to be busy another to yell at the customer when they simply ask where the drink they ordered 20 min earlier, was. Worst service I have ever had in my life.Edit: with the response of Bru's it is clear they do not even understand the problem. A lack of staff does not excuse the treatment of your guests. The service taking too long pales in comparison to the bar tender cursing at me for asking why it was taking so long. I did not curse at him. I didnt even ask with an angry tone. After walking away he continued his insults toward me. They ask for another chance. No I will not be going back to this establishment again. I recommend to not lose further customers and potential customers you figure out what your actual problem is because lack of staff is the least of your worries. Guests will be understanding of that. They will not be understanding of bad treatment by your staff. I've worked on the restaurant business and my manager would have fired me on the spot for doing that.
