This was great! I really wish that they would bring back paper menus, at least for the beer since reading it all (love the huge selection) to make a flight is challenging having to constantly scroll on your small phone screen. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun! Apparently it attracts a lot of grateful people too!
The place was mediocre at best. My bar tender was friendly but nothing special. I don't t have any specific complaint but for the price, $50 for two pints and some bar food, I expect better.
My friend found hairs in his food. The server said that since he had eaten most of his food there is nothing he can do. I said, "are you kidding?" The fact that he found them after he started eating means they were there when the food was prepared because they weren't on the surface.I asked to speak with the manage. He came and I told him what happened. He "said, "we deal with this all the time. If your friend had not eaten most of his food we could give a refund, but he did so we can't."We have eaten there many times, never a problem. But after finding hairs in food we were treated like someone just trying to get out of paying the check. Not cool.
Service is excellent! Quick, easy to work with, friendly and attentive. These are qualities you typically find at a restaurant but sadly the Brier Creek Beer Garden has a new take on the tried and true method : a bunch of employees and the manager stand around next to the bar while patrons wait for someone to finally stop laughing and dancing to get some assistance. Especially fond of the manager with the beard, baseball hat and jacket (while it’s 80 degrees out) who politely ignored us when we entered despite being the only employee within 20 feet of the door. Food was ok.
Beer is great (when they actually have the one you order), food is good too, but service is absolutely terrible..without fail..every single time..busy or slow. It is kind of amusing how inattentive and indifferent the entire staff is. I have come here no less than 10 times over the years solely because it’s close by, and still don’t know why I’m shocked that every experience is bad. I am watching my server in real-time eat a banana and chat with her coworkers while our table has been waiting to order food for 20min. Definitely come here if you have time to spare and prefer to order everything yourself from the bar! :D
As with any restaurant during the pandemic having enough servers to help has been a challenge I'm sure. The food was great we had the reuben and it was very good. The bartender was amazing but he had too much on his plate. He was supposed to be covering the tables outside the bar and was not able to do that because he was constantly pouring beer or making drinks. In my opinion I think that the other servers should check on the patrons that the bartender doesn't have time to check on. I noticed more people than ourselves waiting to place an order for a drink or even food.
Myself and my fiance had a great time here. On this day the weather was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back.
No one seating anyone tonight. We sat down at an empty table after other customers said they had to seat themselves. After 20 minutes, no one had come over to ask for drinks or even acknowledge us being there. At that point, 2 of the people I was with walked over to the bar to get drinks. After waiting additional time, we walked out.Completely disorganized and terrible service. Beer menu looked great but there's no point if you can't get it. I suggest trying ANY other place around there. It's hard to get any worse.
My friend was so excited to bring me to this establishment, because she had such great service the first time she went. I don't know if our waiter was having a bad day, but it was all over his face. He took so long to bring our drinks, so I had to go order from the bar. We spilled a drink on the floor. I started to clean it up. He walks over to us, looks at the spill and walks away. He brought towels back with him but did not give them to us, which is crazy to me. I had to ask him to bring a mop to get the rest up. He didn't offer to help or anything. My food was good, but just off the strength of that visit I would never go back.
Great craft beer selection but the food was pretty average. I had the French Canadian Poutine and the German Nachos. The poutine cheese curds were completely melted and the beef gravy wasnt very tastyAlso the fries weren't fresh cut and we're shoe string. Blasphemous!The German Nachos were good but needed more sauerkraut.The pint of bacon was good, modest spice. Has a great vibe though.
