This restaurant location has potential to be great, however the staff lacks team support. There absolutely no reason why the host isn't getting help from the waitstaff to seat guest. From what I observed, the waitstaff intentionally ignored the front end, while several guest waited to be seated. The host was multi-tasking while the waitstaff stood around, watched, and dictated some instructions. When the guest were finally say, one waitress seemed to be displeased with the guest who were sat in her section, while other waitstaff walked in and out the restaurant to address personal matters. This took place between 9:20 and 9:30. Please check your security cameras for validation.
So I want to explain why I'm giving 3 stars... 5 stars for Alexis but only 1 star for Tina. We sat at our table for over an hour before we even got our food... We also asked for another coffee and after 20 more minutes another waitress named Alexis asked if we needed anything and we were like "um yeah our food". Our own waitress Tina never apologized, or came back to check on us... We noticed she was very attentive to the tables with men. We sat there and watched her give the tables (with only women seated) away to other waitresses but was all over the tables with men. I mean the place is pretty empty so what else would that woman be tied up doing?! We gave the tip to Alexis when she came back with our check, she was so amazingly helpful and sweet! Then minutes later Tina brings our check..but again no apology or any word, just sticks it down on our table. So if you're a man, have at it. But if you're a female don't expect to get any service from Tina. Ask for Alexis!!
I really like this place. They've got good food, great prices, and the staff is always friendly.I've been trying to get around to getting dinner from here for over 2 weeks now because my wife has never had Bob Evans, but with my hours at work it's been impossible.Finally, tonight I get off work at 8pm. You guys close at 8:30pm. Cool, I'll place an order for pick up, go get the food and go home and enjoy a nice dinner. Wrong...I starr putting together a carryout order online around 7:45 and it won't let me set it up to get picked up tonight. Odd...so I called. The woman I spoke with informed me that the website cuts off at 8pm. Ok cool. Can I place a pick up order with you? (7:50pm)"No unfortunately, we're not taking anymore orders tonight"40 min before you close and I can't place a to-go order? Why stay open till 8:30 if you're going to close at 8?The customer service was a shame tonight.
I don't normally like to leave a bad review but I feel like I need to. We waited for almost 40 minutes for a table which is not a problem. I understand that but it was the lack of service that was frustrating. No body ever came to take our order. We sat another 30 minutes and we got tired of waiting and finally left. We wanted to give them another chance because we've had bad experiences in the past but no more. Definitely a waste of time
Placed an online pickup order but had to wait 55 minutes for it to be ready. I placed the order at 9:45 am and drove 30 minutes to the restaurant but the food still wasn't ready. There were people that came in after me and were able to pick up their food no problem. After getting the food home we realized that we were still missing the cream cheese icing that came with an item that we bought. Not a good experience overall.
We have tried their breakfast and dinner family meals delivery and were astonished at how delicious everything tasted! They give you everything you can think of to eat at home except for plates. We will definitely be back to try more!!
We ordered a family feast for Christmas Eve, scheduled to pick up at 11 am. They were SO BUSY, understaffed and the order was not ready, but the staff was so apologetic and you couldn't help but appreciate them. They were all busting their butt, and the manager, Joan, was awesome. I felt like giving her a hug - she deserved it. When we picked up the order a little bit later, they again, were absolutely slammed, but the order was ready, they helped carry it out to my car and were again, very apologetic for the delay. The food was outstanding, and we would definitely order from there again.
Very friendly staff. Their biscuits and gravy are the best.. southwestern omelette with avocado was good. This will my first choice compared to Ihop and Denny's. We were there on a weekday morning and it wasn't super crowded but not sure how crowded it gets on weekend!
I usually like Bob Evans but today was extremely frustrating. Plastic table ware. Ugh! Try to cut chicken with plastic. Service was extremely slow. I ordered the small portion and got the full portion. My husband's carrots were mush. Will I go back- yes but I'll be sure to get a different waiter and see how my meal is next time. Sorry Bob.
