They have decent coffee here and plenty of seating which is great. However their 'pastry' selection is mediocre and feels a bit amateur at best. I just ordered a 'cinnamon' roll from here and it was probably the worst cinnamon roll I've ever had. Had no cinnamon, had too much lemon flavor, icing was hard and dry, and the roll was stale and dried out. I only got through half of it before throwing it away (which says a lot because I'm usually a garbage disposal). Their other food selection isn't great. The breakfast sandwiches are disappointing and overpriced and their waffles aren't anything special. So if you're looking for coffee AND food, I wouldn't recommend this place because you'll be disappointed but if all you're after is coffee then this place won't disappoint.
Fast and friendly service. Many options to choose from and stay is patient while you decide. People are willing to make conversation although to be polite please don't bother those with books or screens. Drinks are well made and promptly served. All in all very good service.
Absolutely lovely place to spend some casual time.The atmosphere is positively mellow and the staff are very down to earth friendly.I highly recommend for a good sit-down cup of coffee/pastry/sandwich.
This is a very cute little Cafe with comfy seating, delicious waffles and a yummy Chai Tea Latte. The staff is super friendly and nice and the vibe is very chill.
What a cute cafe! Very lovely spot to sit with a cup of tea and waffle. I was scoping out the other pastries but I’m an avid waffle lover - fresh and crisp and really really good. Atmosphere is very chill and the service was prompt and very nice. I’ll be back!
I understand why thay have a 93 by the health department. As I was waiting for my food I see the 2 people making the waffles not washing there hands as one is putting food in her mouth around the food they are cooking as well as the other is touching his clothes with his gloves on and wiping his nose with his sleeve of his shirt with the same gloves on. So i did say something about it and all the guy did was change his gloves no wasing of hands nothing. I personally have been a food manager for years and that is not food safety at all someone needs to get there management on this ASAP...
Monday 2/22/2022 was my first time visisting Benelux Cafe. Upon entering the coffee shop, I informed the the barista who was on duty for night shift that this is my very first time here. I arrived there 20 mins before the closing time and the barista seemed to be upset that he had to get off of his iphone and assist me. My order was a latte and a slice of banana bread. He kept repeating "I was in the midddle of starting to close up the shop, but I guess I can grab that for you." He seemed annoyed and did not make my first visit pleasurable. While he made my order, I took a look around the cafe and realized how dirty it was and was disguested. Tables were dirty, trash on the floor, and etc. Honestly, my latte was average. I'm also a vlogger and wanted to vlog my experience to boost more clientle for this cafe. I decided not to vlog, as I plan to never return to this cafe, as Raleigh offers plenty of coffee shops that will provide a clean atmosphere and excellent customer service.

I love to come here and get a pot of tea. It's so fun to have your own little pot :) they also have really good waffles. I'm not a coffee person, so I can't speak to that. They have a dispenser for water, which is nice. Staff is helpful. My only complaint is that there aren't enough seats inside! This place is a hotspot for sure.
Not my favorite place. Food was decent but the atmosphere was not for me. It seemed more of a college place with people studying and such. Which is great if you are in school. Grab a cup of coffee and go.
