Love the location, amazing service! Delicious bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel!! The butterscotch latte was awesome too!
First of all, my very favorite thing about Benchwarmers is the butterscotch latte. I mean it is BOMB! And I can get it decaf. Amazing and the number 1 reason to go. Secondly, the #1: Avocado, crispy garlic, radish, charred grapefruit glaze is AMAZING! And the last time I was there, the special bagel was pumpernickel with blueberry cream cheese. Slap ya mama good! Everything is delicious! Yum! There is no wonder the line is always out the door!
The #2 (duck rillette, sour cherry CC, pickled onions and whole grain mustard) was excellentThe regular bagel I ordered on the side was a bit burnt9/10
The bagels here are very tasty. Try an get there earlier on the weekend as there is high demand for these tasty bagels and they sell out quickly. Only complaint is that the vegan cream cheese is a little runny.
This place was a letdown, unfortunately. The ambiance was good and bagels fresh, BUT,1. the bagels were quite small2. The cream cheese in it was the skimpiest ever. They can’t be charging money for cream cheese and essentially put a whiff of it on. It’s half theft.3. Waited for 10 minutes to get toasted bagels with cream cheese with no line.4. The coffee was horrid.You won’t get a bagel breakfast here with the amount of cream cheese they put on and the size of the bagels.
Disappointed! Bagels here are burnt because they use a pizza oven to cook them. Have interesting sandwiches but the charred flavor overwhelms. I bought half a dozen to take home and realized how burnt they were and tried to return but got no sympathy. Won’t be back.
I always enjoy the bagels here. They have great flavor options and the spreads are also excellent. I personally love the cheese and pepper jelly spread which is not easy to find elsewhere.
I got the best bagel I've ever had from here. The everything coating is nice and punchy and covers both sides. The service was friendly and quick. Along woth there bagels and sandwiches theyalso have great locally roasted coffee. And to top that all off I felt like the prices were very reasonable. If you find yourself in the area give them a go for breakfast (Or any time you're craving a bagel)!
Benchwarmers is a stylish and delicious bagel store inside Transfer Co. Food Hall. They have the best bagels in Raleigh hands down. They also have very skilled baristas who serve delicious coffee. They have a very creative menu which sometimes requires customers to be brave.
SO good!!! One of these visits I’ll branch out from the everything bagel with classic cream cheese… but I can’t stand it, it’s just perfect.
