Really good donuts, but I have had better donuts. Inflation has taken its toll on this place as prices have gone up again. $12.50 to $15.50 for a Baker’s Dozen is a little much. Cool little old fashioned donut shop with many choices. I did not care for the ultra small cake donuts. These things were barely larger than a donut hole. The raised donuts, twists, rolls are what to get.If they adjusted the prices down to $8.99 to $11.99 for the Baker’s Dozen it would be more in line of quality/price
Baker's Dozen make, by far the best donuts I have ever had. Even with the crazy gas prices it is worth the trip from Fuquay-Varina.
The best donuts in Raleigh! The store isn't fancy, and in fact, the name isn't on the outside (just a big Donuts sign). But the donuts! Fresh ones came out while we were in line, which was good, because they were going fast! The vanilla cream filled was so light, and the cream is not overly sweet. Go here!
Wow! The just out of the dryer apple fritters are amazing. The buttermilk donuts look weird but are great. Google says that it's located in Raleigh but when I was growing up, this was considered Cary. Just FYI
Solid local donut shop. A hidden gem worth a trip to. The selection is vast and reminds me of the old school shops . Both yeast and cake varieties can be had. Donut holes, fritters, long johns, crullers, bear claws, they have them all. Get here early for the best selection of risk missing out.
The best donuts we have found since living in North Carolina. We have lived in North Carolina for 18years. We love this place
Tried this as it's "the donut place" around here. The guy in line next to me told me I HAD to get some apple fritters, and he was right. They are by far the best I've ever had. The blueberry cake donuts were also notable. The rest of the donuts that I tried: cinnamon sugar, vanilla frosted, cream filled, cruller weren't that good and I wouldn't get them again.I will be back for apple fritters though - absolutely incredible.Nice staff, smooth operation here.
This is my donut stop for now on. Doesn’t matter how busy they are. They always make the donuts fresh and pretty. Great costumer service. It’s better to stop by and Jot down what donuts you want or call ahead. They usually will be ready in 30 minutes to one hour. And my kids love the donuts!
I don’t even like donuts these much, but my girlfriend wanted to go here for breakfast. The donuts were AMAZING. The raspberry and cream filled donuts were the best. I’ve heard the Apple fritters are delicious, but they were sold out. The employees and owners were very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping by!
